I would have grown up able to listen to, trust and respond to my "gut" instinct (which I always talked myself out of doing) when a situation was fearful or wrong and I would grow up able to say NO with confidence and conviction. But, in reality, that would have taken a different form of parenting too.

If you could write a children's book what would the story entail.

I would write a young adult novel about how a teenage girl fights against being gay because she fears losing the love of her family and the respect of her friends, how she finds the courage to come out, who supports her, what her first romance/s and gay friends are like, how she feels when she allows herself to be who she really is. I think it takes a LOT of courage to come out.

If you could change places with someone for a day, who would it be?

I'd choose to have crystal clear 20/20 vision and be able to read, knit, do counted cross stitch, drive a car and see my loved one's faces clearly. Of course, I would HATE to have to give it up after 24 hours and go back to how little I see now and still have all the intrusive visual hallucinations. But...hope!

I'm not a fan of reality TV shows. But, in order to jump start this, I'll answer this question.

I'd be on the Home Makeover show. We own a home that is almost 100 years old and some of the rooms could definitely use a face lift.

A guy I dated while I was in high school; he was 6 yrs older than me. I don't "want" him, I just want to talk with him for the night and get some very important questions answered.

That's a hard choice. I have a Tweety Bird mug and a Tazmanian Devil mug and I really like the Road Runner! I like the "innocence" of Tweety, the "craziness" of Taz and the Road Runner's ability to come out on top everytime!

My math teacher, Mrs. Bradbury. She got me to understand math and I finally made the honor roll my senior year of high school. She also wrote me letters every week while I went through basic training for the army. My own parents didn't even do that!

I'd keep my sense of smell...there are some nasty smelling things, but i like being surprised by a memory i had associated with a smell which i don't have with touch.
