LOVE THIS SERIES. cannot wait for the next books. i gotta say this was a series that has me biting my nails the whole time. and it was really frustrating how every one just up and dies. poor peeta though, id be super pissed if i were katniss. its like she keeps putting him in a bad spot unintentionally. i hope he survives the capital and hopefully he doesnt get tortured. and im really curious to find out what the deal is with district 13. mysterious!

I'm with you. Peeta is GREAT!!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH KATNISS!!!! She should just be with him. I'm tearing my hair out because of what she's doing to him!!

Remember, we really don't know much about Gale or Peeta; only that it looks like they have feelings for Kat..

Peeta has been ready to die for her several times. But to be honest, I think Gale would do that too if he just had the chance.

This is one of the best series I have ever read. It page turning and I couldn't put it down. the Book the Forrest of hands and Teeth wa like that too. they are both set tint eh future. The secon book in the seires is called The Dead Tossed Waves. They are both excellent series. Another great series is called the Midnighter's by Scott Westerfeld

Thank you for the recommendations! i have been looking at the forest of hands and teeth and was unsure but i will get it now lol i have hunger games but i am waiting for the third book bc everyone is telling me how the 2nd book has a crazy cliff hanger so i am going to wait it out until the 3rd book comes out which i have pre-ordered

Everything is resolved in the third book. Just keep reading. The third book had a different feel to me. The first two are on the edge of your seat anticipation and emotions. The third one was kind of a numb feeling to me and more politcal

The third book is darker than the first two I think. It's still good, but it has a different vibe.

Sounds funny, since the first two were about death.

The third book doesn't have as many light, touching interludes that you find in the first two books. It has a heavier feel to it.

This isn't to throw you off from reading it. The book is good, but different.
