Hi my name is... **Introductions**

Since I lost my husband earlier this year, been reading lots more than ususal. Mostly I tend to read Sci-Fi and Fantasy books but am open to just about anything if the storyline is good.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know stories can't make of the loss of a loved one. But I do believe fiction can really provide for a healthy dose of escapism from the hurt. So welcome to our humble corner of the web here. Pull up a chair and chat away with us. :)

Welcome to the group. I have to say what you just posted is one of the best things I've heard yet from a fan of SK's. :) Please pull up a chair and dive right into the discussions.

I think that is totally great that you are really into the paranormal genre. I love it too but truly consider the DH series my first home that I'll always come back to. Everything else I'm just visiting for a while. But still interesting to read. Please pull up a chair and join us. :)

I first bump to Vane's book 'night play' got me curious and I never thought it was paranormal haha then it drag me to this world of were hunters, the sanctuary and went on to the Dark hunters and Dream hunters and I never look back, well no I look back again 'cause is much fun to re-read them...with all the wisdom and hope you'll get in the books truly worth it..and you can able to collect them too:)

Welcome to the group. :) Glad you have enjoyed the series so much you are into the re-reads and what you have learned from them. Please pull up a chair and join us.

Good to meet you and glad to meet a fellow fan/minion as well. Tis my pleasure and honor to have you pull up a chair and come join us and share your thoughts on this wonderful world that SK has created for us. :)

Welcome to the group. Glad you have found SK's stories to be as enjoyable as the rest of us. Please don't hesitate to pull up a seat and dive into the discussions.

I'm Libbie from near Virginia Beach, VA. I stumbled onto the DH books by accident almost two years ago (a few months before Retribution came out) and due to the nature of my job at the time...I read the whole series to that point in a month. I've reread many of them several times since.
I am beyond tickled to find this group since I haven't found any place I could discuss the books with anyone and none of my friends read them!

Lol, Manuela we all have the deep ever growing desire to get our read on. So definitely don't blame ya. Read and come back and share some thoughts from time to time kay?
Hi there Libbie, I totally hear ya. I tend to come from a bit of a reading family. But unfortunately we all read such different things, all the time! Not only that but my parents have their little jokes about romance novels*insert eye roll*, lol. So yea, this is about the second place I have found that I could talk to people about the books. The first was SK's old web site before it got super uprgraded and now I can't find all that I used to over there. So now that I'm here I really enjoy the more in-depth discussion format and chatting with fellow fans that just get it!
Hi Sara, I feel the same as you. Where is that 1-800 number so we can dial up a DH today, lol. It is also really cool you can share the series with your mom. I have another friend that could do the same too. So in essence it is just so awesome that SK's books are spanning generations too. I think one day if I have some daughters I will pass them on to them as well. :)

I keep rereading Val and Tabby's book too...its my favorite:)

I'm Tsai from Trinidad and Tobago and I've been a SK fan since Vane and Bride's book and I've read every book in the DH and League Series'. My favourites are Vane (cuz I'm a sexy big girl), Acheron's and Sin/Katra. I just finished reading Time Untime and I love it. Hope we have some good discussion here in the future.!!!
All the Best.
Tsai

Welcome to our humble abode. I actually have Time Untime chilling on my shelf and needs to be read along with the third CON book. I'm a wittle bit behind as I'm trying to read other books I've wanted to read for a while. And low and behold some of those suckers are longer than I expected. But I'm getting there. Please join us. Don't feel shy. Dive in and tell us what you think. :)

Just finished time untime Dhfan, if you like read my rating AFTER you have read it and we can talk about that one, I need someone to exchange my views with...

Hi I am Manuela from Adelaide and I have been thinking hard about how vampires or in Sherries series DHs would live down under. I see possibilities in the metropolitan cities like Sydney or Melbourne, maybe even Perth but Adelaide? or further out in the suburbs or even the outback? Joey W. Hill has an Australian vampiress but I haven't read it yet to understand how she is doing it in 40 - 48 degree C with up to 16 hours sunshine. Should SK ever take on the challenge and have an Australian DH, please point it out to me!!!

Hi Sarah! I'm Laurie down here in Huntsville, AL. I am intersted in reading The Chronicles too. Please let me know how you like the first one then maybe I'll check it out from the library.
Thanks!

Sorry if I missed greeting any one. My notifications are still all over the place. Welcome to the group. Don't feel shy and join on in. And no worries Sarah. We usually try to warn about spoilers around here. So careful where ya click. But do share in your thoughts when you get through.

He's been through so much more than anyone and he's still such a good man. So very jealous of Tori :-)

Yeah, I read those, rubbishing the series (after book Acheron) just because Sherri introduced new parthenons and new players and they get overwhelmed by it. I don't mind other religions and gods and once I started reading about the Native Americans I got used to them too, I have no problems with figuring out who is who and related to whom and belongs to what. I take them as entertainment and felt a bit overwhelmed myself when I read here about all the swooning and mooning over fictional characters. I admit some of you have pulled on my inner girly strings and yes I admit too, I phantasize about some of these very yummie men (I am only human after all).

Good question. I don't think SK ever really answered that question that I have saw of anyway. And my guess he got drunk off of it cause he doesn't normally consume human foods. So never having drank sprite before it could have been the sugar from it. Maybe affected his demon side greatly considering it is used to just blood.

I think Sav shows the humanity too through his surfing and all that good stuff.

I mean so many folks I have went to school with and talked to seem to run from books. So more than glad to see and welcome you to the group. I mean wowza. :D
