Hi Elise!

Again, thanks so much for the rec. I finished Where Dreams Begin. I'm glad I read it. I would definitely read some more of her books. Thanks for that push from my TBR. Did you read your Lisa K. book yet?

Michelle B (meesh_ox) | 42 comments Gus wrote: "I'm all done with Dark Lover! I loved it, of course :)"

YAY!! I'm glad you liked it! :)

I finished Shiver and You Slay Me and loved them both! I'm now on to reading A Great and Terrible Beauty.

message 408: by SandyC (new)

SandyC (sandyc88) | 1287 comments I have completed this challenge! After reading Dark Lover, I want to change my name to Sandhy or Sahndy or something like that. LOL! Fran, thanks for the rec. I have only read a few PNR books, and this is the best I've read so far. I will definitely continue the series!

Hey Annvelwis, I'm happy you enjoyed the book and joined the FAC challenge, I haven't read that book yet..
Bit I did read Angels' Blood and really liked it, it's my first book about angels and I think I'll continue with the series.
Thanks!

Ok, I'm jealous! New laptop!! I'd rather a new laptop than books any day! LOL

message 413: by Macwolf01 [Elise] (new)

Macwolf01 [Elise] (macwolf01) | 1012 comments Haha I was desperate, the old one had 14 pretty coloured lines thru the screen and it would belch at me then shut off. And it was soooooo slow ... I can't really complain the last one lasted 6 years.

But I had to work some serious overtime for the new one ... so books are gonna be coming from the library or TBR shelf for a little while

message 414: by Gigi (new)

Gigi | 1149 comments LOL!! I hear you and with all the money I've spent with ebay I should work strictly off of my TBR as well. LOL

message 415: by BJ Rose (new)

BJ Rose (bjrose) | 4413 comments Jennefer, I just finished another from the list of recommendations you gave me - Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency - I found it just mildly entertaining, so I think that means that I'm done with that series.

Next one up is Agatha Christie's The ABC Murders, which is also the group read for The Seasonal Reading Challenge

message 416: by N.L. (new)

N.L. Riviezzo (nlriviezzo) I finished my challenge pick of The Host. While I did enjoy it - to a point - it wasn't really my cup of tea. I am glad that I read it and did not feel as if I wasted my time reading it.

Glad you enjoyed it enough to finish it. I have to admit that it took me some time to adjust to Ely's naivete, but she will grew on you. I just finished the third book, and the entire storyline just gets better and better.

Lydia | 11 comments Elke, I finished Destined for an Early Grave last week and forgot to post. I LOVED the book, I just can't get enough of Bones.

From your recs I chose The Unsung Hero and I loved it! This was my first Suz Brockman book and I cried and laughed all the way through it. It had been on my TBR list for a really long time and I'm glad I finally got to read it.

Thanks!

*sigh* I really liked that series. Except for the last 2 or so books in it, they were all very good.

I finally read Blood Brothers by Nora Roberts. It was pretty good. Luckily this was the last required reading for challenges this month, so I have time to finish the trilogy.

Wasn't that trilogy creepy? I do not recommend listening to it while alone at night. :)

Yeah, I've only finished the first one so far, but last night when I was reading it, I considered stopping and waiting until today to finish every time something creepy happened.

I had it in audiobook and somehow that made it creepier. :)

It's a great trilogy though, so enjoy it.

Sorry about that :)
So, I'm complete for this Challenge =]

message 438: by Annie (new)

Annie (themadnessofhamsters) Hi Gigi,
I've finished Pride Mates - I picked that one because it arrived from the library - and was shorter and had bigger print than Seduce Me in Shadow. Purely practical reasons!
But, I'm glad I did... looking forward to others in the series.
Annie

I took Vampire Academy with me on vacation (which I just got back from - sorry for the late post Rossy!) and it was really good. Rose got on my nerves a little in the beginning, but she improved as the book went on. Thanks for the rec!
