Haha I was desperate, the old one had 14 pretty coloured lines thru the screen and it would belch at me then shut off. And it was soooooo slow ... I can't really complain the last one lasted 6 years.

But I had to work some serious overtime for the new one ... so books are gonna be coming from the library or TBR shelf for a little while

Jennefer, I just finished another from the list of recommendations you gave me - Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency - I found it just mildly entertaining, so I think that means that I'm done with that series.

Next one up is Agatha Christie's The ABC Murders, which is also the group read for The Seasonal Reading Challenge

Yz the Whyz, I just finished Lord of the Fading Lands & it was pretty good. I like the contrast between the sickly sweet heroine & the evil world she's surrounded by. And Raine is HOTT! Thank you so much for rec'ing this book!

Glad you enjoyed it enough to finish it. I have to admit that it took me some time to adjust to Ely's naivete, but she will grew on you. I just finished the third book, and the entire storyline just gets better and better.

I just finished Vampire acadamy also and really liked it. Way better than the HON novels (no offense to anyone who loves them to each his own). i loved the main charachters and the author so pegged the teen drama.. I just get "sucked" in.. Haha

we must be on teh same schedule. i am glad you liked it.. maybe you'll check out ink exchange- the second one. its my favorite of the series so far. i heard that wicked lovely is going to be a movie.

I've finished Pride Mates - I picked that one because it arrived from the library - and was shorter and had bigger print than Seduce Me in Shadow. Purely practical reasons!
