Sorry - you're right. Put this in the wrong thread."
No problem-h9ope you found somewhere to put it :)
Jenn wrote: "can i do Déjà Deadfor the female author? (will do Dexter for the male)"I will accept this Jenn only because it talks about Forensic Anthropology in the research that I have found
correct me if i'm wrong, but any Kathy Riechs book will work - she is a forensic anthropologist who solves various crimes/ what happened to bodies etc? I was planning on using her new one - 206 bonesI'm also planning on using Written in Bone - by Simon Beckett as my male because he is a Forensic Anthropologist also working to solve a crime

Delicious Dee the book slut wrote: "correct me if i'm wrong, but any Kathy Riechs book will work - she is a forensic anthropologist who solves various crimes/ what happened to bodies etc? Cheryl, would you okay The Interpretation of Murder? The crime in the story is solved (I think) by the using of psychology.Thank you so much!
I was thinking of Neanderthal by John Darnton for my male author. It says it's a forensic anthropology thriller on the cover, maybe not in the same vein of the other books mentioned above though. Will this one work?
Curious to see if any of these will work for the male author:Faceless Killers
Smilla's Sense of Snow
Mystic River
Columbine

Yes potjy psychology (Dr. Freud) is used to solve the crime. You may use this book
Nicole wrote: "Does The Murder of King Tut count?"If you are talking about The Murder of King Tut: The Plot to Kill the Child King A Nonfiction Thriller by James Patterson then Absolutely. Otherwise I need an author to look it up.

But if you could give me more information and defend your choice I will reconsider.

No on The Faceless Killers because it does not indicate that it is a fortensic mystery although you can defend your position
Smilla's S4ense of Snow also does not indicate that it is a medical or forensic mystery although it is a mystery
Mystic River would be acceptable as it is a psychological thriller
I have to say No to Columbine because it isn't a mystery at all or a forensic or medical mystery.
You may defend any of these or you can appeal to Cynthia if you desire.
Cheryl wrote: "Terri wrote: "I was thinking of Neanderthal by John Darnton for my male author. It says it's a forensic anthropology thriller on the cover, maybe not in the same vein ..."I'll research it more otherwise I'll do Mystic River as I have it on my shelves and it even appeals to me more!
Lauren wrote: "Would Red Leavesby Thomas Cook work for a male author? My dad gave it to me this weekend."Sorry Lauren but this book is not a forensic or medical mystery. It is touted as a psychological fiction in my research but you can defend your positiona nd give me more information. Otherwise I will have to say no to it.

Would Robin Cook's book Abduction work for this task? I know that he normally writes medical forensics novels, but I wasn't sure if this one fit it as well. Thanks! Rebecca MA
Cindie wrote: "Would the Faye Kellerman Rina Lazarus/Peter Decker books work?"I will take this one-sorry it took so long to respond
