Carol Neman | 469 comments Matt, are you a Dr Who fan? There is a Fans of Dr Who thread somewhere on this site...I joined but have not been looking in, for all I know you could be the bloke who started it, lol This is a good reminder for me to check in...

message 30: by [deleted user] (new)

Yup, big fan. I'll have to look for the thread, there are so many of them on here. I'm reading another Doctor book right now, which'll be the sixth this year. I just got a great haul of more than a dozen from a local used book store for a buck a piece so I'll be reading lots of Who for a while.

Carol Neman | 469 comments RE: #50 (Message 42)...That's because your Dr Who novels are such easy reads! Just try a couple like 'Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell' or anything by Janny Wurtz (they're all three inches thick!) LOL...anyway, good for you, to hit your 50 mark. Are you going to try for 75? Maybe even 100?

PS I loved Chevy Chase's 'Invisible Man'...

message 45: by [deleted user] (new)

Only 10 out of 50 were Doctor Who! I don't pick books based on length, only based on whether it actually interests me. I'll get to Jonathan Strange and Mr Norell because I am planning to read all the Hugo Award winning novels at some point. I've read 10 this year.
