I'm looking for the name of a series of books meant for young teens/pre-teens i think, very thin possibly with the word "dark" or "dark nights" as the series name. One of the books involves a pregnant nun who is incarcerated my the mother superior in a dungeon and haunts the girls of the village as a result? another possibly involves some kind of wolf child? Definitely a lot of wolves in one of them.
any help appreciate. fairly certain they are written by a variety of authors not just one. x

It's come back around that I really want to find this book series.

We (my sister and I) had three of them, one about the wolves, one about the nuns, and one we can't quite remember. The covers were purple. We read them probably early 2000s. I distinctly remember lending them to a friend around 2003.

Did all the books have the same main character?

Who was the main character or characters? Male, female, age, etc.

No they didn’t have the same character.

It was, if memory serves, similar in format to Goosebumps or Point Horror, where the books themselves were independent and written by different authors (at least i think so?) except they were all historical/fantasy/fairytale esque in nature. Lots of woods and cloaks and candles and werewolves, that sort of thing.
They were also, i think, quite thin books. Probably novella length.

There was a series called Dark Visions. The Strange Power is the first book.

No i’m afraid nothing there seems to fit, it’s all set in modernish times and I don’t think there was any of that in the books I’m looking for. Dark fairytale/legend vibes I think.

My sister apparently had a very boring day at work this morning, as she finally found them!


They were called Dark Enchantment series, though apparently many of the books also had secondary titles as the 'Heart of' series, making it difficult to search!
