Rachel Strayer | 338 comments (I'm with you Garrison. Of course there is a reason, but WHY? *giggle*)

No, I just assume that's how things go, and I know its not very hard to negotiate your way into what they're charging new people. (My mom does it at least every other year.)

TPBM doesn't have a lot of green in their wardrobe.

message 3803: by Angie (new)

message 3805: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Lol! I do not. But am likely a redneck regardless.

The TPBM finds the iPad actually harder to write with than pen and paper.

message 3806: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (ace-geek) I don't have one, I don't really like Apple stuff.

TPBM has read a series with a really screwy reading order and gotten confused.

message 3807: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I kind of like it when the installments aren't in order chronologically, but it depends. Sometimes, it's nice to follow up with a prequel and then one of the future. But if it's a cliffhanger, I think authors should just go to the next thing that happens.

TPBM wonders if the producers of X-Men are ever going to finish with the prequels and follow up on the cliffhanger they made at X-Men: The Last Stand.

message 3808: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I am here by certifying myself as a redneck by publicly declaring that I am not wondering that nornwas aware that that was something that could be wondered.

TPBM is wrestling with whether or not s/he is addicted to TV and whether or not such an addiction is really a bad thing.

message 3809: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I don't think it could be considered addiction if I only watch TV less than two hours a week.

message 3810: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I'm only addicted to two things in this world: fast food and fast computers. These are two addictions that are worse on my mind and body than smoking crack (not that I've ever smoked crack before, though if I did, it would explain the weird stories I pump out every week).

TPBM agrees with Einstein when he says the true definition of insanity is doing the same thing every day and expecting different results.

message 3811: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I wake up most days and eat and drink then sleep. By his definition we are all insane and I suspect that that is true. Does that mean I agree or disagree?

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments No, that poster did not and has not creeped me out. But it did not inspire me to buy the album or see their show.

message 3826: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I suppose it depends on what you would consider a celebrity. I only emailed someone who hosts a radio show with a million listeners. Does that count?

TPBM thinks that if they met their favorite author, they would be conflicted over slapping them for all of the emotional grief they've caused, or hug them for their amazing writing.

message 3827: by [deleted user] (new)

I will choose a hug in all cases unless the person in question was stealing my thoughts, ideas, and paintings telepathically. Then I would slap.

TPBM likes it when everything is symmetrical.

message 3836: by Guy (new)
