message 3201: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments I've only done that once. I named a bitchy ex-girlfriend after my old senior social studies teacher in high school (Cindy). That short story needs lots of editing before it's presentable.

TPBM can find the fun in editing their own work.

message 3202: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Not only can I but I do. I love playing with the look, feel, sound, and texture of words and the malleability of their meanings.

TPBM unexpectedly brought home a new book to read.

message 3203: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments Not just a book, but two books. I got them both when I was vacationing in Canada. They're called "Super Human" by Michael Carroll and "The Silence of the Lambs" by god knows who.

TPBM is a cheese aficionado.

message 3204: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Well, I write a lot of cheesy stuff, does that make me aficionado? I hope so, but probably not.

TPBM will be watching snow fall at some point during their day tomorrow.

message 3205: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments I live in the Pacific Northwest, so snow is inevitable.

TPBM thinks the Keebler elves are so darn cute! ^_^

message 3206: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (ace-geek) Not really.

TPBM is enjoying some above-average temperatures?

message 3207: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Well, it's about 70 or 80 degrees here. But I'm in Phoenix, AZ, so it's not that much above average.

TPBM is creeped out by toe shoes and the fact that they only have four slots.

message 3208: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments This person has no idea what toe shoes are, but recognizes that while we have five toes per foot, there is actually only four slots between toes, so is ambivalent about what having four slots in toe shoes might mean.

TPBM is going to google what 'toe shoes' are after counting how many slots s/he has between their toes.

message 3209: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments My brother is an exercise nut and owns a pair of toe-shoes, so I have all the information I need.

TPBM has a dead celebrity they really miss.

message 3210: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Not really.

message 3213: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments No, I'm way in Arizona, so it's really far away.

TPBM has been a blood donor before?

message 3214: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments I hate needles, so no dice.

TPBM thinks soda tastes better coming out of a glass bottle or tin can than it does out of a plastic bottle.

message 3215: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I've never noted the difference before, but I've always felt way cooler drinking from a glass bottle.

TPBM is surprised (and a bit disappointed) to find out that snowflakes are not symmetrical.

message 3221: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I've never seen an episode of Dr. Phil, so I can't really say.

TPBM thinks that Santa Clause was an ingenious invention by parents to get their children to tell them what they want for Christmas.

message 3222: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments While that may be true, I'm 28 years old and still make lists for what I want for Christmas and on my birthday.

TPBM thinks growing up is overrated.

message 3223: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Yes, because we never really finish "growing up".

TPBM thinks childhood is overrated.

message 3224: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments Despite my aversion to "growing up", I wouldn't want to relive my childhood again since that would mean I'd have to go back to middle and high school.

TPBM chooses their next book to read at random from a pre-determined list (maybe their Good Reads "to-read" list).

message 3225: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments It's not really random for me. I have a general idea of books I want to read and I read them as I get my hands on a copy.

TPBM has tried wearing Christmas stockings (the ones you hang over the fireplace) as socks.

message 3226: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments Once when I was little, I did that. Not very comfortable.

TPBM sleeps to gentle music at night.

message 3227: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Not really. Unless you count rock music as gentle.

TPBM is bipolar in their choice of music.

message 3228: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments I listen to heavy metal and new age music side-by-side, so I guess I qualify.

onceuponatimeareview Never heard of them

TPBM got what they want for Christmas.

message 3232: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Well, I never really think about what I want for Christmas, but seeing as I got a new laptop, I'd say that yes, I am very happy with it.

TPBM knew what they were getting for Christmas prior to recieving it.

message 3235: by Garrison (new)

TPBM got a CD of some kind for Christmas.

message 3236: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Not so much a cd and not so much for Christmas. I did however get an iTunes card as an early birthday present. Does that count?

TPBM got some type of electronic for Christmas and is still in the process of figuring out how to use it.

message 3237: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments OOC: Yes, an iTunes card qualifies, Angie-Pie. :)

IC: The only thing that qualifies as an electronic that I had a hard time figuring out was a Nightwish CD that I couldn't open the packaging to. CD packaging is a beast to get through without scissors or mom's fingernails.

TPBM likes Nightwish.

message 3238: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I've never heard of them, though the name sounds cool.

TPBM sustains multiple injuries every Christmas from opening their presents.

message 3239: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments I've stayed injury-free so far. Let's keep the streak going.

TPBM thinks the name Zoltan Bathory is cool.

message 3240: by Angie (new)

TPBM complains more when they get a paper cut than when they get a bruise.

message 3241: by Garrison (new)

TPBM thinks dreadlocks are cool.

message 3242: by Angie (new)

message 3243: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments I'm pretty careful about the things that I carry (unless it's recyclables and they're overflowing, but that's another story for another day).

TPBM hates watching the local news due to the number of violent stories they have.

message 3244: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Let's not forget all of the political crap that's also on there. (Though I'm not quite sure which is worse.)

When TPBM is driving on the highway, they often wonder how some drivers got their licenses.

message 3245: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10163 comments Welcome to Port Orchard, Washington: the city of bad drivers and my current place of residence.

TPBM thinks Shakespeare is overrated.

message 3246: by inactive account (new)

TPBM likes British rap.
