message 5001: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I do everything in my power to do that. The only problem is when someone gets me to watch a movie and I don't find out until after that it was based on a book.

TPBM is currently craving a cinnamon muffin.

message 5002: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments No,at-least not at the moment.

TPBM just reached home.

message 5003: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Nope, I did that 12 hours ago, after a walk to get green tea, in a very light spring rain on a cool morning.

TPBM enjoys walking to the store, even when it is lightly raining.

message 5004: by Nadia (new)

Nadia | 690 comments Yes, I walk almost everywhere.

TPBM is procrastinating on doing those dishes in the kitchen.

message 5005: by Guy (new)

TPBM has had coffee-flavored candy/ice cream.

message 5009: by Nadia (new)

Nadia | 690 comments Yes, yummy.

TPBM loves how green everything is this time of year.

message 5010: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4490 comments It's a nice time for it yes. More green means more fresh air!

TPBM loves to head to the library during this time of year.

message 5011: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Yes. But then that is true of mean every time of the year. [Hello CJ! How have you been. I haven't seen you around in a while.]

TPBM comes home from the library with a dozen or more books.

message 5012: by Nadia (new)

Nadia | 690 comments Always. I have hit the limit on how many books they let one take on various occasions.

TPBM loves when rain spontaneously pours down in the middle of there walk. (I start singing songs normally.)

message 5013: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I live in a temperate rain forest, and so 'love' is not the adjective I'd use. Acceptance, with a light heart, perhaps.

TPBM has decided that s/he would like to take singing lessons to increase the joy of taking a shower.

message 5014: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments I think my neighbors are satisfied with my bathroom voice.

Marie (naturechild02) I'm always hungry. I'm a bottomless pit.

TPBM misses the X-Men cartoon show from the 90s.

message 5018: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I do not. (Sorry.) on the other hand I do miss Ally McBeal.

TPBM prefers reading comic books to watching their cartoon versions.

message 5019: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4490 comments Yes that's pretty true.

Hi Guy! :)
I know I have been on and off here a lot but I hope to get back to writing and stuff soon!

message 5020: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Yes, but I wish there were comic book libraries so I could get my hands on comic books more easily.

TPBM has ideas of how to obnoxiously wrap a passive-aggressive present.

message 5021: by Guy (last edited Apr 20, 2015 07:07PM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Lol! Well, I have a good imagination and so I have, but I had not imagined sending passive-aggressive presents. (Odd, but I was wrapping presents yesterday, but without any hints of passive-aggression, I hope.)

TPBM likes sending people gifts through the mail.

message 5022: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (ace-geek) Not really, I'd rather just give them in person.

TPBM will wrap a present to a friend in a way that's nearly impossible to open, just to annoy them.

message 5023: by Marie (new)

Marie (naturechild02) I have been known to do that sometimes. Or present in two or more boxes so they have to keep opening more and more.

TPBM had just recently started buying things off Amazon.

message 5024: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4490 comments Nope. Though I'm surprised I haven't yet.

TPBM feels they are at the least not bad at being thoughtful when choosing a friend's gift. (By that I mean the "Right" gift!).

message 5025: by Nadia (new)

Nadia | 690 comments I'm awful at buying presents, I would rather just hang out with someone.

TPBM isn't ready for their birthday to come yet.

message 5026: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments That's true. It is 10 months away, and so I am procrastinating on my state or preparedness.

TPBM has had enough birthdays to find prep time minimal and the shock bearable.

message 5027: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10193 comments Even though I'm turning 30 this year, the shock is definitely bearable. It feels no different from any other year. Thirty is just a number.

TPBM has an air purifier in his or her bedroom.

message 5028: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Nope. I've never had need of one.

TPBM likes to eat candy and watch Netflix when they're feeling lazy.

message 5029: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10193 comments Instead of that, I eat Little Caesar's pizza and surf the internet. Does that count?

TPBM uses almonds and milk as sleep aids.

message 5030: by Connie (new)

Connie D. | 656 comments No. But I drink almond milk. (as a substitute, no sleep)

TPBM makes lists for just about everything.

message 5031: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments When I have time.

TPBM goes to bed late.

message 5032: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10193 comments I go to bed at either 12:30 or 1:00 in the morning, so yes, I believe that qualifies.

TPBM knows how to pronounce the band name Live (as in either “a live performance” or “live your life”).

message 5033: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I've never heard of that band, so I'll have to say no.

TPBM loves buildings with lots of windows.

message 5034: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10193 comments They're especially lovely at nighttime when they light up the dark skies. That would make for a beautiful piece of photography.

TPBM is a nonconformist.

message 5035: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I would like to think so, but I feel that everyone would like to view themselves as such. I'm not sure if an objective opinion would agree with my self evaluation.

TPBM wonders what the point of personal mottoes are when most people choose similar mottoes anyway (i.e. carpe diem).

message 5036: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10193 comments As someone who doesn't live by personal mottoes, I'd have to agree with that.

TPBM believes that major changes in his or her life can be good.

message 5037: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Of course. We should never stop trying to improve.

TPBM hates it when they start a "trilogy", read the third book, and find out there are going to be a dozen more books in the series.

message 5038: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10193 comments I haven't gotten that far in a book series for that to happen, so I can't be sure of the feeling.

TPBM enjoys sleeping in a cold room regardless of what season it is.

message 5039: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Yes, I do.

TPBM enjoys teaching in informal classroom settings.

message 5040: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Yes, I also like learning in less structured environments.

TPBM finds it really hard not to pick at their scabs.

message 5041: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10193 comments It's especially hard when those same scabs itch like crazy. A few days after Nacho bit me back in March, I kept scratching at the wounds until they reopened.

TPBM can tell if someone is lying to him or her.

message 5042: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I wish. Unfortunately, I'm as oblivious to lying as I am to social cues.

TPBM hates it when they charge something only to find out hours later that it was never plugged in all the way.

message 5043: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10193 comments I can't say that's ever happened to me before, but it would definitely piss me off if it did. Sounds frustrating.

If TPBM is a member of Deviant Art, he or she can explain to me the purpose of llama badges (I’ve been a member for a decade now and I still don’t know).

message 5044: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I am not a member of Devianart, but those llama badges sound interesting.

TPBM finds it mind blowing that the letter 'a' is not included in any number until you reach 1,000.

message 5045: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10193 comments That is mind-blowing indeed, Angie. It's those little things we don't think about until someone figures it out.

TPBM is happy for Green Day now that they’ve been inducted into the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame.

message 5046: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I'm not a huge Green Day fan, but I do like a few of their songs, so I can be happy for them.

TPBM is so busy all the time that they don't know what to do with themselves when they get some free time.

message 5047: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10193 comments Most of my busywork is self-imposed, so my free time is used just for that. If I was going to school or work, then it would be a different story.

TPBM doesn’t understand why the word “vanilla” is used to describe something boring when it’s a yummy flavor of ice cream.

message 5048: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I M! And I wonder if it came about with the abominable invention of artificial vanilla flavour eng used in most ice cream that was eaten everywhere.

TPBM has begun to cook with the seeds from real dried orchid pods.

message 5049: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I can't say I've ever cooked with those, Guy, or even thought of that.

TPBM always gets insect bites in the most inconvenient places.

message 5050: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10193 comments The last time I got an insect bite was in the late 90's on a cruise ship. I got stung by a bee on my middle finger. That hurt badly.

TPBM thinks it’s creepy whenever monsters or psychopaths recite nursery rhymes.
