Im on Chapter 15 as I'm typing actually. Can't wait to finish so that I can type up this Question I have. I'm waiting to post it so that I might come up with something else too. :)Kate, come back to us!!! *looks around frantically* ;)

Hmmm... It doesn't matter to me, really. I can adjust to either one. 50 will ensure that I can read a different books afterwards, but on the otherhand, 75 will make sure that I get a lot of thrills from the book. Win-win situation for both hands. :}

Questions Chapters 10-15
1. Do you think Zoey is required to go to the Dark Daughters Full Moon Ritual? Would you go?
2. Damien's parents were ok with him becoming a vamp but not being gay. What are your views about the issue? *If you are uncomforable saying, that is fine.*
3. Vamps eating healthy. Ok, I think that is a funny twist! What is your fav healthy food? What is your fav unhealthy food?
4. DO you think Zoey is acting weird about Eric Night looking at her? I mean he only looked. (Geez. But I remember being that age.)
5. Does it seem like Zoey is good at everything. She answered a question that no one else knew on her first day. She loved fencing and she had a knack with the horse stall. Where did her flaws go? Besides that, Have you ever ridden a horse? Did you like it?

My answers for questions to chapters 10-15
1. I think she might be by a unspoken requirement. Her mentor said it was a good idea. Her mentor seems like a great lady and I don't think she would steer her the wrong way.
2. Parents should love you no matter what! I'm not too fond of his parents and there was only two sentences about them. I think that if that is what makes the person happy then I wish them all the luck in a relationship that I would anyone else. Everyone should deserve a bit of love and happiness.
3. My fav healthy food is pretty much all fruit. I love fruit. Grapes, strawberries, watermelon, mangos. I'm there if there is fruit! My fav unhealthy is cheesecake! I love cheesecake!!!

5. It does seem like she is a natural at it all but we will see throughout the book. Hopefully, she will mess up at something and seem a flawed like earlier.

Chapters 10-151. Zoey might not be just absolutely required, but she is expected to go since she has told Neferet she is going. I would probably just play sick at the last minute or something. I'd figure out how to get out out of going without making it look like my body is rejecting the Change--which means no playing sick....

I think that that's very . . . rude--in a different defintion: Not rude like "no manners," but sort of rude like "I can't believe you would just let me be a Vamp and not put up a fight, but when I tell you I'm gay you're as uncomfortable as ever." I think that his parents should have been supportive of his sexuality. Even if it was uncomfortable for them, they didn't have to be so non-helpful in the situation. Damien was probably (most likely) having a hard enough time as it was without seeing how relieved his parents were that he was leaving.
3. I have to agree with you there, Elyssa. Healthy vampyres is a very different and amusing twist. My favorite food, as of the current moment, would probably be those little sugar-free mandarin oranges fruit cups. I eat them a lot. Or maybe the 100 calorie packs of Lorna Doone shortbread cookies. My favorite unhealthy snack: a large McDonald's fry. Good old potatos. Lol
4. I do think that Zoey is acting very weirdly over Erik looking at her. Yes, he's cute and all; yes, he saw you in the hall when he was with Aphrodite; yes, he kept looking at you and everything, but that doesn't prove anything. He could have very clearly been gazing upon her Mark. (Hee hee . . . "gazing upon.")
5. First: It does sort of seem like Zoey is good at everything at the House of Night. This might be a sign from Nyx that everything really is going to be okay with her during the Change.
Second: I have unfortuantely never had a chance to ride a horse; hope I can get the chance before my passing day. :)
6. If Zoey was the only one to feel the effects of the elements, my first guess is because she was the newest person? Or because Nyx was sending some message to her that we have yet to understand. The Full Moon ritual was pretty cool to me. I was actually amused when Loren Blake, the Poet Laureate, walked in and Erin and Shaunee were all psycho for a few minutes.
I think I wrote a paragraph for each question... :)
I almost forgot about Loren. I hope he gets a bigger role in the book or one of the following books. He seems like he would make it interesting for sure.
I was also surprised that they had someone die so quickly in the book. I wonder if they will have someone else die as well. I bet at least a death every book.

For the next reading assignments they are supposed to be for the next 3 days. We are ahead since tomorrow we were supposed to do the questions for chapter 10-15. But we can read and do the next three sections over the next three days. So tomorrow we can talk about 10-15 and 16-19.
I have to admit that I was astonished at the early death, and that it was of someone who we had recenlty been introduced to. I hope that there isn't a death in every book. And if there is, that it's none of the people I love the most: Erin, Shaunee, Damien and Stevie Rae especially.I as well am hoping that Loren gets a bigger part. He seems like a very interesting character already, and all he did was speak at a ritual. :)

I'm sure at some point one of the bigger characters are going to pass. It is going to have to be shaken up somewhere. I can't see all of the main characters being safe. I almost wonder who it will be.
Yes, now that you have stated that, it will be sort of like a Great and Terrible Beauty rerun where Pippa died. I hope it's not Damien who dies though because that would be really sad. It would be sad fo rSR to die too especially though because then Zo wouldn't have a roomie. :((

Questions for Chapters 16-191. Dark Daughters Ritual - What did you think of the ritual? Do you think that it was a coincedence that Zoey could---once again---feel/hear each of the elements?
2. Heath came to "bust Zoey out;" apparently, his love for Zoey is genuine. Do you think Kayla tagged along because she was truely worried about Zoey and missed her, or that she came because Heath was going?
3. Heath was in a sort of trance after Zoey took blood from him; do you think it was a trance, him acting goofy, or something else altogether?
4. Erik states that Aphrodite told him she was going to ask Zoey about the goblet of blood-wine. Do you think Aphrodite knew that Zoey would drink more than a taste?
5. What did you think of Erik's brief romance scene at the end of chapter 18?
6. Do you believe the "Elizabeth" that Zoey and Nala saw was a ghost or just a creepy look-alike?
7. Zoey now has her very own kitty! Do you have any pets? What are they, and how many do you have? *Optional: Describe them.(Only detail a few if you have more than 3.)

1. The ritual was surprisingly simple. I thought they would make more of it!! I kind of figured that she was in tune with the elements because she could feel them and they described everyone else as not reacting much. Must be from the kiss of Nyx.
2. Oh, Heath, dear Heath! Hopefully, he really loves her. But I kind of think that his bond will become greater after she dived into his wrist! Oh, and K, well, yeah, hmm, what, a, ho! She went because of Heath and she went to show Zoey that since she is locked up that she was all over Heath. Good boy for not noticing her! But he does seem like a box of rocks. But I give him credit for his sweetness!

4. I think she was supposed to be grossed out. But who would of thought that Zoey would love the taste of blood. (I should also mention that there were alot of smells in this part of the book that she couldn't place. Got annoying. She get stupid all of a suddent?)
5. I think Erik was cute and that now she can gush over more then a look. But it is weird that she really doesn't gush like with the look. Then again, her focus was elsewhere. I just found it odd that there was little gushing over hottest guy on the planet, so they say.
6. I would like to agree with Zoey and that was Elizabeth. I mean there has to weird things going on besides just a stuck up hags of hell cult that Nyx wants fixed. That is why she wants her to be the eyes and ears. It has to be something!
7. I had a kitty for a long long long time growing up. Her name was Charlie (I wanted to name it fuzz bucket, hey, I was 5 when I got her.) I couldn't pick a name so my mom named her Charlie. Weird. She was old when she died. I was actually pregnant with my second child when we took her to the vet. I cried the whole time. - Now my aunt has a dog, Ginger. She is a mutt. My cousin has a cat Blaze, and we have two black bunnies that I named Carbon and Soot. I also have a 210 gallon fish tank with about 125 fish in it. I'd like to get another cat. One that I can snuggle with. I love cats!

Answers to chapters 16-19:1. The ritual sort of scared me at first, with the creepy music and pot-incense smell. I don't think it was a coincedence that Zoey could feel and hear the elements, including spirit, again at the DD ritual. There is definitely something the Goddess Nyx wants her to accomplish and/or understand.
2. I think that Kayla to the House of Night only because Heath was going. She may have really missed Zoey and wanted her to come back home, but it seemed the main reason she was there was Heath.
3. Heath could have actually been entranced when Zoey took blood from him. It was only temporary, though, because when Kayla started screaming for Zoey to stop biting Heath, he looked and sounded sober again.
4. Honestly, I'm not sure if Aphrodite knew about Zoey's early bloodlust or not. She could have had a vision about it, but I'm not sure how early bloodlust is a tragedy.
5. Erik obviously really likes Zoey, and she's definitely into him. That scene was actually funny to me with all the shivering and trembling Zoey did everytime Erik did something to her. I have no complaints about it, though, as it wasn't over the top or more for the mature crowd.
6. "Elizabeth" was definitely nawt just a creepy look-alike. I think it was some ghost of her or her spirit or something because she had red eyes and I'm sure Nala and Zoey weren't nightdreaming or seeing things. (Nightdreaming is daydreaming, only at night. :) )
7. I have pets, but they're only boring old fish. We used to have about 21 in our tank alone, but some of them died; now we have like 13 or 14. I can't really describe them very well becuse they don't necessarily have unique personalities. The Kissing Gourami likes to chase the 3 catfish we have. It's actually really annoying; there are Zebra-Striped Cichlids (if that's how you spell it) that, obviously, have black and white stripes. I think we have 4 of those.

I'm not done with the book yet. Am trying to space out my reading alittle, that way I can read some other books as well. But the plot is just so pulling. :)
(I think while we're reading Rebel Angels that I will try to either finish The Dakr Elf Trilogy or start some books for the June challenge. Either way, I will have to multi-book-read.)
Yes, this plot is very pulling. I'm enjoying the book even with its flaws. I'm def interested in reading the rest of the series. I only book I read of this series was Betrayed. Yeah, it gets to be a re-read for me. It was the only book of the series that I could get fro the library and I read it because I really wanted to try the series out.

I'm back I'm back! Sorry guys yesterday I had the worst cramps ever and had to lay down with some of my exam stuff at 5:00. I feel asleep and didn't wake up until 5:00 in the morning. Sorry if the was to much information. I'll get back to you guys as soon as finish all my reading, unfortunatly it may not be tonight since I have more studying to do and a horseback riding lesson which usually is about two hours. Tomarrow I only have a half day so I promise to be back officially tomarrow at noonish!

Betrayed I finished. I'll have to see what I posted for the rating. It might be better since now I read the first book first. Usually that is why it is a series. You should really go in order. *Now I'm talking to myself. LOL*

I'd like to keep reading the series. Since we are going to finish the Gemma Doyle series we should continue this series once that one is done.

I'm game for finishing them. Perhaps we should switch from the HON series to the Max series and go back and forth. Sometimes it gets to be too much if you read a series straight through. Or we go straight through. You know me, I'm really not picky as long as I get to read something, I'm happy!
LOL, yes I do know you Elyssa, and you're definitely not picky. I get what you're saying about being too much to read it str8 thru though. Switching back and forth would be better. So after GD, we read TAE. Then we go to Betrayed and then School's Out - Forever. And so on and so forth. I might be a little ahead for the MR series though because I already have 2 and 3.

Lol, yepps. I finished Marked today. You were totally not bluffing. The ending was AH-MAZING! LOL! I really liked the book. Am actually sorta anxious to start Betrayed, but I'll calm myself and wait. *scolds self* :)
I knew you would like the ending! It was great and all the twists in one spot. I can ignore the many flaws of the book bc the ending was good.
