Well, Barnes and Noble had a buy 2 B&N classics, get the 3rd one free...so I took advantage of it - twice...and got some other goodies on the side :) Here's my new list of goodies I picked up:

I was bad today. I had today off so I bought 4 books.

, , it's being made into a movie and I got in hardback now I have all of Sarah Addison Allen's books in hardcover.

Okay, despite my promise to not buy anymore books for the rest of the year, I can't resist going to the bookstore today and ended up buying Deeper Than Dead by Tami Hoag and Nothing But Trouble by Rachel Gibson at 15% discount... Ohh I was bad....

Hi Debi, thank you.. good to know that I made good choice with my purchases. I've only read 1 book by Hoag about a year ago, and found Deeper than the dead in the bookstore, and liked reading the excerpt at the back of the book so I bought it.. :)

I read that last summer and I was really surprised by the actual story versus what I thought was the story.

So we go to Walmart today to pick up a few things and I was swearing I am not going to buy a book because of financial reason and I was just looking till a book peeked out at me from behind a pile of other books on a table and it is 40% off..well this smile came across my face and hubby said my whole face lit up..the book I picked up was for $8.40 Trade Book not HC. And hubby told me I could get another book if I wanted to so I picked up it's a 2 in 1 and it was on sale for under $5.00. :D!!!

I hadn't bought books in almost a week or more and I need to cut back on spending in general but I had to finally secure my copies of the complete Sherlock Holmes works! I would love to have some vintage-looking ~special edition~ but alas on my budget the cheapest fastest copies available were what I ordered.
They should be here today or by tomorrow.
