Dan stared at the ground.

"Oh come on now." Nellie bent down and pulled Amy into her arms. "Everything's all right. I'm here to make sure you are ok, and that's all you need to know."

Amy nodded weakly, sobbing on Nellies shoulder. Soon, the sobs turned into sniffles.

"Come on guys, let's go back to the hotel." Nellie stood up slowly.

Nellie looked at Dan. "What are you sorry for? I promise promise that I'm on your side. I'm here to help you, to make sure that you are ok, that you're safe. If you need something, that's what I'm here for."

When they got to the hotel Dan flopped on his bed. "Finally somewhere confortable."

Amy nodded and opened her mouth but was much to tired to say anything. SHe jumped on her bed.

Nellie walked to the mini-fridge and pulled out some food. "Who's hungry?"

Dan sat up immediatly. "DId I just hear 'whos hungry?""

Nellie smiled and gave the kids food. She turned away when her cell phone rang. "Hello?" She listened for a few minutes then hung up and turned back toward the kids, her face pale.

"Nellie, you can tell us, right?" Amy's eye's seemed to plead with her.

Nellie shook her head. "It's a family thing. Dad's not feeling to well." The panic in her eyes betrayed the seriousness of the situation.

Nellie grited her teeth. She hated what the Clue hunt had done to these kids. She turned around and dropped onto her bed, leaning against the headboard. "Are you guys still hungry?"

"Yes" Dan said while Amy said "No". Amy gave Dan a very mad look. Looking at Amy make that face made Dan think "Madrigal"
