I thought we could do a book involving pirates (there are several in the YA category to choose from), or something with "sea", "ocean", or "sail" in the title. But it's your challenge and totally up to you. :)

I just couldn't let it go by unmentioned. ;)

Kellee Moye (kelleemoye) Jennifer- You can put anything. We can work on making a book topic after the fact :) Might was well give the public what they want.

Kellee Moye (kelleemoye) The August and September polls are only up until June 25th so that the topics can be up for Challenge #5.

You get 5 bonus points on Challenge #5 for any book you read that fits into one of my monthly challenges for July, August or September when you read it within the month! :)

message 80: by Kellee (new)

Kellee Moye (kelleemoye) WOOO! We hit three hundred points and we haven't even hit the year mark for the challenge! That means that combined we've read at least 150 books- wow! Great job everyone!

So, I just NOW noticed the plug - awesomeness.
---------------

I'm making my list for November, and have a few questions: would you like me to wait until you have the November thread up, or should I ask here, or...?
---------------

Aaaand, just to confuse the issue *that* much more, I just added three "after the month" books for January, February, and April for an additional three points. So, that should be 19 points total.

You're correct :)
And you're welcome for the plug. :P
I only had you for 8 in August- sorry.
I will update the mistake and all the after the fact points :) You actually get 2 points for your April post since you read it in April. So, your total is 20.
I will put up the new thread now and ask away.

I was just getting on here to talk to you about that. It is such a busy time of the year- I feel like I can't keep up with anything: reading, grading, GR, lesson plans, present buying, laundry, etc. etc. etc. It is good to know I am not alone :)

message 100: by vicki_girl (new)

vicki_girl | 157 comments My point count is incorrect. I should have twenty. I had one after-the-month book for December. I didn't get to finish any (that met the challenge) before the end of December. I finished Wintergirls on Jan 11. It takes place in December/wintertime.
