For this challenge, it's the color on the cover that counts. We can do another one sometime with color names in the title.

Okay, I'm going to ask what may be a stupid question but what are the titles marked out for (I assume you have already read them but if so then it isn't really a challenge is it?) And regardless of what it means how do you do it???? (Mark the titles out I mean.)

Above the comment box on the right, click on (some html is ok) and it will show you common html terms. Strikeout uses s and /s in the greater than and less than signs.

Marisa, my interest is peaked in the Rottweiler Rescue book. Could you let me know what you think of it after you read it? Thanks!

They are struckout because I read them already. These will be quarterly challenges, meaning you have 3 months to complete them. To follow the regular quarters of the year, we're already a month into this quarter, so letting you back date it a bit if you'd like from April 1st for this first one.
Tostrikeout, underline, italicize, or bold text, click on (some html is ok) upper right above comment box, and find the instructions on how to add the codes to your text.

Good to know. I thought the first book was just ok, so I was iffy about continuing the series. Sounds like I will be glad I did.

I guess that's up to you Kari. We'd never know the difference. Personally, I'd go by what I have, wether it matches goodreads or not. (To find my colored covers, I just visually checked my actual bookshelf, looking for covers the right color.) Whatever you feel comfortable with.

I don't think it matters that much, I say use the picture of the one with the purple on it.

I've already read it and I've liked it a lot. It's a fast read, very entertaining, I've liked the main character and the writing, and I think if you like dogs you'll enjoy it more. And, besides, I picked it up at Smashword, so it's a very good purchase.

Thanks for the info. I love dogs and currently foster Papillons, so I think I will enjoy reading a book about rescue as long as it doesn't get too real with some of the sad parts.

No, no too sad, really, I think it's mainly encouraging (for me, the end has been touching ;) )

This first one is to read the rainbow. That is, find any book whose cover fits the color needed for the rainbow. They don't have to all be cozy mysteries, although that is encouraged. (It's understandable that some are limited with their reading times, and we also read books other than cozies.) For this first one, I'm backdating it to start April first so that we follow the yearly quarters. (Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun, Jul-Sep, Oct-Dec)
Spring Challenge - Read the Rainbow
April 1 through June 30, 2010
Read 2 to 6 books:
Yellow
Orange
Red
Green
Blue
Purple
When you share you list, please post the covers so we can see the rainbows. :)
