Sink Trap (A Georgiana Neverall Mystery, #1) by Christy Evans Aunt Dimity Digs In (An Aunt Dimity Mystery, #4) by Nancy Atherton Cut to the Corpse (A Decoupage Mystery, #2) by Lucy Lawrence Fellowship of Fear (Gideon Oliver Mystery, #1) by Aaron J. Elkins Aunt Dimity and the Duke (An Aunt Dimity Mystery, #2) by Nancy Atherton

I can't quite believe this, but I have no red covers from the past three months. None. At all. In mysteries or otherwise. The only one that would have fit was read way back in March. Must see what I have that's short...

ETA 6/30/2010:

Found a book with a (mostly) read cover. Started it yesterday afternoon and am ten pages from finishing. Whew! Just getting that one in, LOL. Plus, it fits two other challenges on this board.

Frankly My Dear, I'm Dead (A Delilah Dickinson Literary Tour Mystery, #1) by Livia J. Washburn

message 60: by Beverly (new)

Beverly (bevarcher) Completed 6/6 but I did have to change two books because the movers packed them and we still have not received our household goods yet. The Girl With The Dragon Tatoo was changed to Mint Juleps, Mayhem and Murder (yellow house on cover) completed in June and The Girl Who Played with Fire was changed to A Killer Plot (red columns on the house on the cover) completed in June. Dare to Die was completed in May. Hastur Lord is not a mystery, but it was the only orange book I could find that I had not already read. The Emperor's Code is a young adult book, but since it is part of the 39 Clues series and the Cahill children are on a hunt for a series of clues that will reveal things about their families, I thought it counted as a mystery.

I really liked it. Gave it 5 stars. Very likeable characters and a murder that ended up with some layers to it.

message 79: by Gary (new)

Gary Sundell | 2274 comments I hate to be a nit picker, but it is an occupational hazard with we lawyers, but if one is to really do the rainbow it should be ROYGBIV for red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet.

It does look like a fun challenge from yesteryear.

This looks fun. And, doing this should be fun. But, this challenge is from 2010. Not that you cannot challenge yourself, just pointing out that it is a little old, and not our current one.

If you want to do this seasons challenge, look for the one with 2016. It is an acrostic type one where you spell out words.

https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

We also do monthly ones as well. June is now posted.

As a teacher, I thought the same things. One was missing. But, then, we get picky, too. LOL

I am a retired teacher as well, Valerie and I also thought that. I did not realize this was an old challenge and I finished it this month. Oh well, always nice to get those books read.
