Yes they do and I've used our local library to try out the Dresden Files series. But they just don't carry the range of cozies you c..."
Ahhh I see. $5 per book, yowza!

I've been a member of Goodreads for a while, but I just joined this group. I live in North Carolina near Charlotte. Cozies are my favorite mysteries, and I especially like a little humor and strong women characters. I also love characters who have horses and dogs. I'm a big fan of Dick Francis mysteries, though I like his older books better than the newer ones.

Hi I'm new. I'm an australian living in canada and LOVE cozy mysteries so I figure this group is a great place for me :)
Thanks Heather & Tammy. I can't wait to check out this month's reads. I haven't heard of either of them, which is a plus. Now I get to find some new authors :)
Thanks everyone! I can't wait to get started on this month's books :)

I am excited to hear what everyone is reading, what they enjoy most, and getting to know the people in this group!
Happy reading!

I have just gotten in to Cozy Mysteries lately, because I picked up On What Grounds by Cleo Coyle by chance at the bookstore. I'm hooked!

Welcome, Jennifer! I too was an English major, now doing something completely outside the field. lol

Curious, usually the name is Marissa (BTW, Marisa is my nickname, my real name is María Luisa, but I think that if somebody tells me that, I won't answer :D )

LOL, I do see more double s's. We named her after a dear friend. It's a Spanish name (which you probably knew). Back when we named our daughter (34 years ago) the only other Marisa we knew of was John Wayne's daughter.
Well, I'm Spanish so yes, I know ;) With double s I think it's Arabian. It's curious, some time ago nobody would have asked, but the other day at a Starbucks the waiter asked me if one or two s's LOL
