Introduce yourself - archived

I don't think I could pick a favorite author, but I do particularly love books with dogs and cats in them.

I'm excited to discuss books I'm reading b/c my i..."
Hey Tonya, I just read A Charming Crime a few weeks back and I absolutely loved it. I keep wishing my cat would bring me charms though. LOL. Can't wait to read the new one in that series.

I am happy to be in this group and would like to introduce myself.
I am Ahmad Ardalan, an Iraqi in the UAE. I just published my 1st Ebook Novel The Clout Of Gen two months ago.
The Clout of Gen is a Fictional Suspense Novel.

I think the big back of books at my feet in the van when we travel was a major factor in my husband deciding I needed an e-reader.

I was trying to find a website for Leslie Meier to read more about her series. Actually the Gingerbread Cookie Murder was the reason I was looking. I....."

Hi, Rachel! So glad you found the love of cozies!
Tonya

I read a lot. I would much rather curl up with a good book and my dog and cat curled up with me than watch television, except big bang theory and ncis.
I read a little bit of everything but I love mysteries most. Currently I have been reading paranormal mysteries mostly, but I am happy to read other stuff too.
I cant work due to a medical condition, or rather conditions, and the one good thing about that is lots of time to read.

Hi, Laura! So glad you are here.

Hi Nathania,
How about characters in their late twenties and a series that involves whitewater rafting? The two books that are published so far in my RM Outdoor Adventures series are Deadly Currents and Wicked Eddies.

I tend to go through a book a day, so my library has been somewhat out of control until I got a Kindle, and now I'm happily scouting for books that are available for Kindle at low prices! My most recent find has been Fran Stewart's Biscuit McKee books, beginning with "Orange as Marmalade" (Marmalade is Ms. McKee's cat). I'm looking forward to joining in the discussions here!

Hi, Beth! So glad you are here!!

And I LOVE to read.

I'm Richard Cunningham, a Houston-based science journalist who has written his first novel. My wife calls it "historical mystery." Some call it a "cozy," and one author called it "a romance."
Now I'm confused. ;- )
I look forward to following your discussions and learning more about these books you call "cozies."
Cheers,
Richard

Sorry for not responding to your first note. I'm still not sure if you were talking to me or the group as a whole. Just in case, "Hi." ;- )
My wife and I live in Houston. I'm a science writer and she teaches Art History at the University of Houston.
Like you, I recently joined GoodReads and I'm enjoying the chance to see what other people are reading and follow their reviews. I've already learned of several good books that I probably wouldn't have found on my own.
Moscow, Idaho -- an interesting name!
Cheers,
Richard
