I'm Rebecca and a Public Librarian in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Area. I'm a cozy reader from way back. I signed up a week or two but haven't introduced myself yet. I just finished reading Amanda Flowers - Murder in a Basket and it was great fun. I'm also into reading romance - like romantic suspense and some paranormal romance like books by Heather Graham. I grew up reading all the Agatha Christie and Sherlock Holmes books. Still love them.
I am going to try to work on the March silly holidays challenge!

I am happy I found this group because I love reading but am really stuck on what to read.
I hope to get inspired and have some discussions and read about your thoughts as well.
P.S.: Agatha Christie is genius, love her.

Beth Groundwater

I love anything that has a remote mystery attached. I've been in grad school while working full time the last three years and it's really (REALLY) cut into my recreational reading time! I'm about to graduate and hope to spend evenings and weekends reading what I want!
Looking forward to being part of the community!
Bitsy

You might also enjoy The Baron series by John Creasey (although he may have written them as JJ Marrick. He wrote over 700 books under dozens of pseudonyms.)

Thanks for the welcome! I just finished reading Aunt Dimity Takes a holiday and it was great fun! So now I am reading Aunt Dimity: Detective!

A Vermont cozy mystery series: http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/... Take a look at my fun blog, too http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/... Enjoy!

Congrats on that upcoming graduate degree, Bitsy! I earned mine while working full-time, and I know that juggling graduate school and work is REALLY hard.
Bethlil, there's nothing I like doing better during a heavy rainstorm than curling up under a comforter with a good mystery!
Anne, I'm a fan of Carolyn Hart, too, the person as well as her books. I hope you'll consider reading one or both of my two mystery series. I'm one of the two featured authors this month.
Welcome again to you all!

Hi, everybody. I'm Malla Duncan from Cape Town. I'm a writer of somewhat dark mystery thrillers but I love to read cozy mysteries! I do find them hard to track down though. I still find the church fete the perfect place to find a lovely old-fashioned read!

I am looking forward to some fun discussions and finding out about new authors to read.

My husband and I are originally from Milwaukee, but are now living in Oregon, WI. I love it when I see people from Wisconsin. So very cool.
I'm way behind saying "Hi!" to newbies. (Been busy writing.) But I'm almost a newbie at Cozy Mysteries too. I'll probably miss a few, but, Hi to Jill, Maggi, Anne, Kelly, Malla (my hubby and I visited Cape Town a few years ago), Kim, Lorna, and maybe more. Jill, I started with The Cat Who... too.
