Hi, I'm Anne, and cozy mysteries are one of my favorite genres...they're a nice break from some of the darker stuff I read.

Hi cozy fans!I moderate a few groups on GR, but I was looking for a group to "hang out with" without the moderating component...since I tend to go in major spurts with cozies, I thought this would be a nice place to start.
I look forward to discovering some new cozies and sharing what I read as well.

S.A. I have just started reading M.C. Beaton books starting with The Quiche of Death, and the Case of the Curious Curate. These books make me want to stay inside on harsh rainy days.LOL
I know what you mean, Agatha seems like such a crabby person at first, but then once she gets involved with her little village's doings then she becomes fast friends with the vicar's wife. She is an endearing character. Thanks for sharing.

Hi everyone! My name is Susan Jo from SE Kansas. I'm a retired banker from Colorado Springs, CO, now taking care of my husband, who has Alzheimer's. Been reading cozies since before most of you were born, probably. I have 1 son living in Houston, TX. We have 1 dog and 4 cats. I am a "certified" paranormal investigator and researcher but don't get out much anymore because of my husband. i am a member of some other groups at Goodreads but had no idea this group existed until just now. I became hooked on cozy mysteries after reading my first Agatha Christie many, many years ago. I read every one of her books and then went on to discover so many more authors who wrote in the same genre. Some of my favorites are M.C. Beaton, Mary Kay Andrews, Nancy Atherton, Mignon Ballard, Dorothy Cannell, Diane Mott Daviidson, Sharon Fiffer, Earlene Fowler, Joan Hess, Rosemary Harris, Toni, Kelner, Katherine Hall Page, Ann Purser, and the list could go on and on. Once I find an author I like I'll go do no length to read all of their books.

Am I the only guy in this group? I enjoy stories by M.C.Beaton, Rita Mae Brown, Rhys Bowen, Alexander McCall Smith and my favorite author for cozies is Alan Bradley. His heroine, Flavia de Luce, is a young girl with a passion for chemistry and solving crimes. I think he is a must read.
I also have written a cozy. It's Next Time We Steal The Carillon, available as an ebook.

Hello everyone, my name is Shelly and I live in Central Illinois. I enjoy the cozy mysteries and thought I would like to join the group. I enjoy Cleo Coyle, Leslie Meier, and many others, I especially like the humorous books along with mystery. I am currently reading The Christmas Thief by Mary Higgins Clark and Carol Higgins Clark, this is the second of these books I have read and thoroughly enjoy them. I look forward to seeing all of the comments
