Hi Caroline :-)

Hello, Rhys! I absolutely adore your books; Naughty in Nice arrived on my doorstep today and I find myself turning around every so often in my chair to admire the Royal Spyness collection sitting on my bookshelf. :P

:)

Welcome all new members! Be sure to check out the group bookshelf (top right of boards) for recommendations from other people in this group. ; )

I'm Kathleen and I'm both an avid reader and a writer. I also blog about writing (and knitting and cooking and lots of other random stuff) at Parlez-Moi Blog.
As a writer I've published a couple novels, novelettes, some short stories and a variety of books and booklets on knitting lace. As a reader I love nearly anything that is well written. I'm a fan of Carol Goodman, Kate Morton, ADORE James Lee Burke, and Cara Black.
I'll wait until I get to know everyone a little better before I say anything about my books. Thanks for the group.

I'm Jane in Columbia, SC. I've been a mystery fan ever since elementary school, when I read every Nancy Drew book I could get my hands on.
Some of my current favorite authors are Sue Grafton, Marcia Muller, Nevada Barr, Barbara Michaels / Elizabeth Peters, Lauren Willig, Shirley Rousseau Murphy, Diane Mott Davidson, Laurell K Hamilton, Jill Churchill, Nancy Martin, J K Rowling, Mary Higgins Clark, Carol Higgins Clark, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.

Hey Jane, I live in Myrtle Beach! Nice to see another SC'er on the list! Welcome and enjoy!

Jen, is the catering series you're reading the one written by my fellow Colorado mystery author, Diane Mott Davidson? If you ever get a chance to go to one of her signings, you should. She hands out delicious homemade cookies.
Jane, I, too, started on Nancy Drew.

Welcome, Debra! Being a dyed in the wool Buckeye through & through it might be hard to pick up your book, especially with the time period being what it is, but I might be able to force myself! LOL

I'm LOL with you!....and will be tolerant of you being a dyed in the wool Buckeye.

Debra: You'll get the hang of things and learn your way around in no time. As I've suggested to other newcomers, be sure to check out the group "bookshelf" (top right of board) for more cozy mystery recommendations. The featured author section is also a great way to find new-to-you authors.
