I am reintroducing myself.I saw another "Heather" and hopefully changed my name
to "sassy". That is the name I use at other places.
So........ my books "I like" list is somewhere in here.

Sassy, you'll do just fine. I can understand your confusion - there are several different discussions going on in this group at any one time, and many times some of the same people are making comments in more than one of the discussions. If you look at the list of discussions, and click on each of them, one after the other, you will soon get the hang of it.

Sassy,I stumbled on the cozy board at Amazon quite awhile ago. I got several book recommendations but it seemed to be a closed conversation so I didn't post anything. Looks like you have a great group over there.
Something I noticed with the digest emails is the posts are from the previous day. For example, if I post something at 6:30am it won't show up on the digest that I receive around 11:30am. It will instead show up on the digest the next day. It was kind of confusing at first. This probably explains why we have so many conversations going on.

Sassy, I have a question for you. Someone mentioned a cozy group on Amazon that you're in. How would I go about finding this or other reading groups on Amazon?
A warm welcome to Sassy, Kellie, Renee, Duffy and Alexandra! I've been busy at the Left Coast Crime conference in Santa Fe, and I'm trying to catch up on my Goodreads groups now. What a fun event that was, but you can have a fun time discussing mysteries every day here!

Hullo, folks. Am new and introducing myself :)I'm Tayles/Becca, and I... like books. Obviously. I'll read most genres (eh, maybe not romance) and am currently in my mystery/detective story phase.
I'm from the UK, read a lot of SF&F as well as manga, detective stories and classics. I like cats. I'm moving to Japan in... just under two weeks. I am sad I can't fit all my books in two suitcases. If only I didn't have to pack, you know, clothes and stuff. Woe.

Two suitcases with only 23kg in each. I've no idea how I'm going to manage it! I lived out there for a year before and I somehow fit all my stuff into two suitcases when I came back...But yeah, I'm very glad I got a Kindle for Christmas with me - I can take loads of books with me without worrying about them taking up too much space!

Hi, I have kind of introduced myself slightly previous on here, but here is my "official" introduction. my name is Karen. I am in mid south Missouri Ozark Mtns. close to Springfield and in the tullies. As a result I get a lot of reading done. Suspense and mysteries are my top picks. I especially like Christian suspense or mystery, but they are hard to find, especially through the library. I also love to cook, craft, exercise and listen to CCM music. Hi to all the other Newbies on here.

Admittedly, the Geography you speak of means nothing to me, but it sounds rural? :D I imagine I'd get a lot of reading done too! If I find any Christian mystery books I'll be sure to let you know!
Hi gang.. so many cozy readers! My name is Doug, a librarian from Baltimore and I love mysteries, both gritty and hard boiled and of the cozy variety. Cozies help me relax and get my mind from things and can make me laugh as well, so I include them in my diet. And there are so many good ones out there!

Hi, I have been a member of Goodreads for only a few monts and have decided it is time to look at the groups. I only read Cozies. While my list of books here is not big i have well over 500 books in my collectiosn. I figure some day I won't be able to buy many books and since I have loved what I have may as well keep them to read again. I have about 40 books on my TBR shelf.I live in Ft Pierce, Fl and after the hurricanes we had in 2004 have been without work so I stay home, read and play on the computer.
I would like to have more freinds on here if any one wants.

I've been a member of this group for a couple of months but I'm not sure I ever introduced myself-forgive me (& forgive me if I already have & am repeating myself!)Cozies have always been like a secret vice of mine, tucked in between the Moby Dicks & Dickens. I love the classics but the truth is cozies keep me sane (or at least however sane as I may be!) Since my break-up with my husband a couple of years ago & helping my kids (not really kids-17 & 20) & working (special ed teacher), I became very isolated until discovering GR & becoming active last November. But this group has become a particular favorite & comfort, a place I turn to for relief from my stressful life. :)
So I want to thank everyone here. I love reading the comments. People are so warm & so happy to share their reading life.
My only problem with this group is that my reading list has gotten completely out of hand since joining! :D
