Hi everyone! My name is Liz & I live in Santa Rosa in No. CA. I really enjoy cozies, but haven't read many lately. I was going thru withdrawals ;-) so I just recently went through & found where I'd left off on some faves like Kate Collins (Hello Kate!)Cleo Coyle & Maggie Barbieri. I love the Sukie Stackhouse books, but actually I've really enjoyed Charlaine Harris's mystery series too & wish she'd update those series too.

I live in Long Beach now, but I lived in Santa Rosa for five years and my family pretty much all still lives there (there and Sebastopol). Pretty area, and Copperfield's is a great resource.
Hi my name is Nina. I am a 26 year old stay at home mom, so once the kids are in bed I like to curl up with a great book. I am almost done with Carolyn Hart's Death on Demand books and looking into a new series I can start. Some of my fave book series are the Lucy Stone mysteries, Goldie Schulz mysteries, and the Supper Club mysteries. I'm so happy I found this book because I'm hoping to find a new mystery series that I will enjoy.
Glad you could join us, Nina! I'm sure you'll find tons of recommendations for new series around here. Hope you enjoy it!

We were in Hermosa Beach before that. We moved up here in Nov. 78. But I grew up in Tacoma, WA.

My name is Marja and I live in Arizona. I found this group today and started reading the posts. I like what I'm reading. I love any mystery that's lighter and has some humor in it. Thanks to this group I now know that Alice Kimberly has a new book coming out. What a nice place to be.

Hi, I'm new to the group. I love cozies, some of my favorite authors are Anne George and B.B. Haywood, loved Town in a Blueberry Jam. I'm a huge Janet Evanovich fan. Don't know if the Stephanie Plum books are of the cozy variety but love them anyway.
I work in a consignment shop and write for Berkley Prime Crime.

They are great. Read them in order if you can. And now I'll hush up, because they are not cozies, but historicals.

Hello, My library had a year long challenge to read types of books you wouldn't usually read. I started with Murder is Binding
and then read the others in that series.
I've got her new book on hold at the library and, after finding this group, many other cozy mysteries on my to-read list.
That same challenge led me to
-which is definately NOT a cozy, but is now one of my all-time favorite books.It also led me to the author Ron Rash who writes about Appalachia.
re: the library challenge. It turned out I was the only one who had entered. After 8 months it was cancelled. I thought I won by default but nooooooo.
They could have least given me a book bag !
