You'd be planning well Darcy. I'm probably 1/4 of the way through and I'm wondering why I ever liked MJD. I know why! I just have to remind myself. I almost picked up Fred the Mermaid at the used store today. I think MJD is good limited to 3-5 books per series. After that she looses a lot of people.

Good to know about the Betsy books. I have read the Fred books and really liked them. They are a fast easy read and funny.

I'm hoping this one gets interesting. Sinclare just grew a pair (I'll leave out details) so I've perked up and am hoping for something interesting.

Forever was her dip into YA. It's a book basically about young love and sex. I thought it was a very honest look at a teenage (18 year olds) relationship.

I have a couple of good ones.

The first is from "There are gods in Alabama: Jack Daniel's, high school quarterbacks, trucks, big tits, an also Jesus.

The second is from "It was an airport gypsy who told me that I had to kill my husband."

Both are really good books, in the vein of crazy southern families.

I'm all for Jack, but I thought the J's were Johnny, Jack, and Jose? I didn't know Jesus was added to the group.

i'm just at the beginning. I liked book 1, but didn't like the rest. However, I feel like I need to keep reading it just because. I'll let you know if it gets interesting.
