message 2257: by Jeff (new)

Jeff | 1131 comments isnt that a british movie with christopher Lee in it. I think its called Deathline. and he says "mind the doors" I beleive. its a pretty good and twisted movie. Lee's only it for a little bit though, thats was the reason I watched it originally

I hope Jeff is right Deathline was an obscure bit of a movie Donald Pleasance was in it. The eye creeps me out.

message 2259: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes, Deathline is correct....it's Donald Pleasance who plays the police officer who discovers the remains of a cannibal cult living in the "underground." The movie is also called "Raw Meat" (for the U.S.version I think). Christopher Lee seems to have a kind of pointless cameo, perhaps to give the movie some further horror cred.

It was impossible for me to tell what the character kept muttering, until I learned he was mimicking the "mind the gap" warning passengers hear when they step onto the subway trains. Maybe it was "mind the doors," as Jeff says. But that's all the poor underground cannibal learned to say...
