The lady then takes the child from the parents and tries to adopt her but changes her mind later.

message 2157: by Lori (new)

Lori | 1318 comments I love Nightwatch! Mostly b/c I love Ewan McGregor. <3

message 2158: by RB (new)

RB (rblindberg) That is definitely the Danish movie Nattevagten by Ole Bornedal - which was later re-shot by Ole Bornedal himself in American English.

message 2159: by Bob (new)

Bob (ilovepie) | 158 comments Yeah it's Nightwatch. I prefer the original over the remake.

Sorry, I would have gotten back to this sooner, just had a bit of work on my hands the last couple of days.

message 2160: by Nora aka Diva (new)

Nora aka Diva (DuctTapeDiva) a guy who plays it loose and gets in way over his head in this 1999 dramatic thriller.

message 2161: by Randy (new)

Randy Harmelink | 1639 comments After Hours was the first thing that came to mind for me, but that's from 1985 and more of a comedy.

Into the Night also came to mind. But that's also 1985.

Another was Bad Influence, but that was 1990.

I'm stuck in my youth. :)

Nora, the clue is way too general. Can you give us a few specifics?

You got it!

message 2174: by Ryan (new)

Ryan Daley (ripvanryan) | 58 comments Cool. An amateur team of horror filmmakers gets inadvertently involved with shady snuff films when shooting in a foreign country.

message 2175: by Jeff (new)

Jeff | 1131 comments This sounds alot like "Murder-Set-Pieces"

Ryan Daley (ripvanryan) | 58 comments Jeff wrote: "This sounds alot like "Murder-Set-Pieces""

That's not it.

Ryan Daley (ripvanryan) | 58 comments Bob wrote: "Mute Witness?"

Yep, you got it! Batter up!

message 2179: by Jeff (new)

Jeff | 1131 comments I think maybe someone should put a movie hint in. Its been three days now.

message 2180: by Bob (new)

Bob (ilovepie) | 158 comments Sorry, life's been keeping me busy and I forgot to check.

I got a decent one. This is a two segment anthology film. One half involved a killer novelty toy while the other involved a sentient body part.

Sorry of this is a bit cryptic. If anyone wants me to be more specific just say so.

message 2181: by Nikki (new)

Nikki (foiltheplot) I think we're going to need a bit more info, Bob.

Bob (ilovepie) | 158 comments Can ya give another hint Shawn.

message 2185: by Ld (new)

Ld | 84 comments This is an MST movie that's pretty funny..

"The Thing that Couldn't Die", right?

message 2186: by Shawn (new)

Shawn | 1168 comments EXACTLY!

("Couldn't die or *wouldn't* die?" asks Tom Servo drolly....)

It scared me as a kid in the 70s

Your turn!

message 2187: by Ld (new)

Ld | 84 comments Some of those MST movies scared me as a child which seems silly now that I'm older ....

Plot: A lightning storm enlivens and unleashes a meandering horde of flesh-eating worms.

message 2188: by Randy (new)

Randy Harmelink | 1639 comments I always hated MST because it made fun of the horror and sci-fi films I grew up on and loved as a kid.

The Thing That Couldn't Die would show up on a Saturday afternoon about once a year or so.

Ld -- I've seen at least two, maybe three, films that I think would mean that plot description. Although I can't think of their names. Is the one you're thinking of where a city boy is visiting a new girlfriend out in the country?

message 2189: by Ld (new)

Ld | 84 comments Thats the one , Randy. It has a one word title.

message 2190: by Mark (new)

Mark Burns (TheFailedPhilosopher) | 196 comments Slither? I assume I'm wrong.

message 2191: by Randy (new)

Randy Harmelink | 1639 comments Has to be Squirm then...

New movie -- A serial killer, killing people at a diner in a remote location, has his victims rising as zombies.

Probably too easy.

message 2192: by Mark (new)

Mark Burns (TheFailedPhilosopher) | 196 comments Legion?

message 2193: by Randy (new)

Randy Harmelink | 1639 comments It is similar, but Legion didn't have a serial killer, but a bunch of killers. Did the people killed in the diner rise as zombies?

message 2194: by Mark (new)

Mark Burns (TheFailedPhilosopher) | 196 comments Never seen the movie, just the trailer and now that I think about it they looked more possessed than zombified. Took a guess.

message 2195: by Randy (new)

Randy Harmelink | 1639 comments Additional clue -- the title is a pun.

message 2196: by Ryan (new)

Ryan Daley (ripvanryan) | 58 comments Uh, Die-ner?

message 2197: by Randy (new)

Randy Harmelink | 1639 comments Correct, Ryan. You're up.

message 2198: by Ryan (new)

Ryan Daley (ripvanryan) | 58 comments This recent, Montreal-set suspense film hinges on a ludicrous plot point: the movie's crippled character is just pretending to be crippled.

message 2199: by Shawn (new)

Shawn | 1168 comments Ahhh Scott - now that's just wonderful!

"It's for respect!!"

message 2200: by Ld (new)
