Guess the movie. A young man who has started a new job as a morgue night watchmen becomes a prime suspect for a series of vicious killings.
That is definitely the Danish movie Nattevagten by Ole Bornedal - which was later re-shot by Ole Bornedal himself in American English.
Yeah it's Nightwatch. I prefer the original over the remake. Sorry, I would have gotten back to this sooner, just had a bit of work on my hands the last couple of days.
After Hours was the first thing that came to mind for me, but that's from 1985 and more of a comedy.Into the Night also came to mind. But that's also 1985.
Another was Bad Influence, but that was 1990.
I'm stuck in my youth. :)
Guess The Movie: A group of friends go on a trip to explore and have fun. They however go to a prohibited area and are prevented by the villagers from leaving because of the moving plant that was infecting and killing people by growing inside them.
A professional football player vacationing on a remote island with friends battles for survival with local residents against giant creatures, including wasps and rats, that consumed a mysterious underground substance.

Nora, the clue is way too general. Can you give us a few specifics?

One man's ambition causes one of the greatest financial disasters in history.
Ambitious, wide-boy is determined to rise in the world and be more than a simple bank clerk.
Cool. An amateur team of horror filmmakers gets inadvertently involved with shady snuff films when shooting in a foreign country.
Sorry, life's been keeping me busy and I forgot to check. I got a decent one. This is a two segment anthology film. One half involved a killer novelty toy while the other involved a sentient body part.
Sorry of this is a bit cryptic. If anyone wants me to be more specific just say so.
Quicksilver HighwayA buried treasure dowsed out of the ground on a farm proves to be a dangerous object in a locked box - said object is looking for the rest of itself.
EXACTLY!("Couldn't die or *wouldn't* die?" asks Tom Servo drolly....)
It scared me as a kid in the 70s
Your turn!
Some of those MST movies scared me as a child which seems silly now that I'm older ....Plot: A lightning storm enlivens and unleashes a meandering horde of flesh-eating worms.
I always hated MST because it made fun of the horror and sci-fi films I grew up on and loved as a kid.The Thing That Couldn't Die would show up on a Saturday afternoon about once a year or so.
Ld -- I've seen at least two, maybe three, films that I think would mean that plot description. Although I can't think of their names. Is the one you're thinking of where a city boy is visiting a new girlfriend out in the country?
Has to be Squirm then...New movie -- A serial killer, killing people at a diner in a remote location, has his victims rising as zombies.
Probably too easy.
It is similar, but Legion didn't have a serial killer, but a bunch of killers. Did the people killed in the diner rise as zombies?
Never seen the movie, just the trailer and now that I think about it they looked more possessed than zombified. Took a guess.
This recent, Montreal-set suspense film hinges on a ludicrous plot point: the movie's crippled character is just pretending to be crippled.
