THIS IS A FUN QUICK READ WITH GREAT VISUALS.

This petite anthology will have the most seasoned of fashionable folks blushing—especially when one of the fables’ morals hits home in the most uncomfortable and revelatory ways

hmm lets see... "Harkness" you must be related to Jack in someway. Wait he "stole" the name Harkness so...Oh what the heck 5 points for being semi-related to Jack Harkness and another 10 for having the Name Rose so now you have 15 points.

Now we need to figure out what the points are for, who would be interested in them, can they be fitted nasally? What color should they be?

(Bonus points for figuring out the reference there.)

Yes, Well technicallly I think it is book 2 "Resturant at the End of the Universe" or Oh it's been waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayy too long since I've read those things. Need to catch up on that again.

Bonus Level Reached...DING!

message 124: by [deleted user] (new)

Yaaaaaay, points!!

message 125: by [deleted user] (new)

What's this with points? Ummm, well it was the 5th doctor who carried celery right? I think it was his cure to an allergic reaction...I know the first doctor was William Hartnell and his grandaughter was Susan Foreman. He kidnapped/held prisoner Barbara Wright and Ian Chesterson(ton?), two of Susan's teachers, whom later became companions. I did not google that! I watched the first episode (or the first four whichever way you see it since some episodes are nurmural ones together). I cross my heart, hope to dye, stick the sonic screwdriver in my eye that I did not cheat and go off this page to research!I promise/swear on all things wibbly wobbly timey wimey!

Kirsty,
RE:Points - just some silly thing that we are running with. I think it is all my fault see messages 117 & 118.

The celery was some sort of radiation detector.

I need to re-watch "An Unearthly Child" AKA "The Tribe of Gum" (and re-read the novelization) it has been ages. Heck I need to re-watch and re-read almost all Doctor Who episodes. It does seem to become a life-long mission.

Kaleigh - Captain Bubbles ESTP(intj) (captainbubbles) | 1566 comments :) I'm kinda grounded from even TALKING about DW. :) My whole family's like: "Kaleigh!" and I'm like, "I know, I know! But it's DOCTOR WHO!".

??? That is terribly upsetting to the very fabirc of the Whovian Universe. What are your family? Trekkies? Or something worse?

Kaleigh - Captain Bubbles ESTP(intj) (captainbubbles) | 1566 comments No, they love Doctor Who too. I just was maybe spending to much time watching it, talking about it, reading it, soaking it up into my very being.... You get the idea.

message 130: by [deleted user] (new)

Ha! I barely even get to WATCH it!

message 131: by [deleted user] (new)
