Tortured soul is no reason to be a jerk. Look at Jem. He's actually been tortured but he tries his best.
Well literally tortured is a whole different topic...they are the most likely to turn out emo, but they could also turn out bad. Most likely though they'll just be the really nice people because they don't want to get hurt anymore, or hurt anyone. Will on the other hand, well his torturedness is much more complex...I'm not completely sure what to think of it. Maybe he just doesn't want to get too attached to people or for them to get too attached to him..?
Idk, but that doesn't matter, mystery is also HOT.

Oh, so this is how it is huh? Show me these so called facts!It's true that Jem tries his best even after being tortured, while Will acts like a jerk for seemingly no good reason. But we don't know all of the facts yet! Maybe since it seems that Jem may die soon, Will makes himself out to be a jerk so people will pay more attention to Jem in his final years. Maybe he was hurt once and no longer trusts himself to get too close to people. Maybe he really is just a jerk for no good reason, but the mystery of finding out what it is that makes him so aggrivating is alluring and hot. We just don't know enough facts yet to come to a conclusion.
So lets hear your oh so fantastic facts and theories!!!

Egad!?? Such trecherous words! Will and Jace are two completely different kinds of hotness: Jace is the sarcastic, tortured, sweet soul who is afraid of caring too much while Will on the other hand is tortured also, but rude, slightly careless, and has his sweet moments where you get to see some part of what's going on inside that head of his. I don't love Will because he's related to Jace, I love him because he's hot and I don't understand him yet. ;P

I love Will since the beginning on his own (that fact that hes herondale is a great bonus but the reason)
there is just something about that makes him seem incredibly real in my opinion inside a world filled all these mystical characters there is just something about him
bad boys are just my type and when you there is something else there (mysterious) makes it all the better in my opinion
we are all drawn to different things
and yes Will is a jerk a jerk with reasons but a jerk none the less
i like jerks apparently because Jace is a well jerk i love him more than any character in the world
but Jace and Will are to completely different people
i suppose i understand Will.... sort of
i know he was being a jerk but i knew there was a reason behind it made all the difference for me i could see it and feel it.
