I'm totally digging Jem. Usually I'm a sucker for the sarcastic, witty, good-looking a-hole, but this time around I'm totally for Jem. The guy seems a sweetie (keep in mind I'm a couple of chapters shy of finishing the book; things could change in a heartbeat!) and gentle, wise, beautiful, ethereal, and best of all, mysterious. I think I fell in love. Team Jem all the way home!

dunno, i finished CA the day it came out and i like jem he can be funny like when tessa asked how he puts up with will he replied "I think of the river and how it flows on not caring what goes on around it" and tessa asked if it really worked "No, but thinking about how many ways i can strangel will in his sleep does." but i like will too, right up until the part that he starts acting like an ass.

lol, i just started it and i'm already on page 207, and so far I'm Team Will but i LOVE Jem, he's adorable.
but i want Tessa to end up with Will.

Like Will (since he's seems to be more of a male lead then Jem,) will find out that Jem likes her and won't tell her he likes her and wil want Jem to have her and all that.

Exactly, and Will will be a total bastard to Tessa so that she can go to Jem and be happy with him.
But as you say, Will is the male lead so i'm pretty positive that she's going to end up with Will *keep my fingers crossed*

Yeah. Tessa just ignores him and thinks of a sarcastic comeback that usually leaves Will speechless. I think Tessa should end up with Will so that the readers will be able to enjoy the fact that Jem's a free man. I was so sad to read that the drug was slowly killing Jem!! I wonder how he'd look if he wasn't taking the drug. . . Maybe hotter. Yeah. Definitely hotter.

Honestly?

I think she'll end up choosing Jem. Will took over as the love interest in this first book, but the little hints that Jem likes her, and the "Mizpah" scene make me think that the slow building up of Jem/Tessa is gonna happen.

But then he dies, because of his sickness/addiction and she is heartbroken, and she and Will commiserate together, but don't 'end up' together, per say.

you know. I actually wouldn't mind if she did end up with Jem, becuase he's such a sweetheart, but I kind of want her to end up with Will a bit mroe, i'm sort of torn.

But will is the main protagonist the way Jace was. No matter what gets between them or if she dates Jem for awhlie or something (like Clary and Simon), I still think ultimately it'll be Will.

I think Tessa will end up with Will, but I don't know if I'm Team Will or Jem. They're both great. I love bromance! Lol.
I know if Tessa ends up with Will that means Jace would never have been born, but I have a feeling since Tessa's not like the other warlocks she'll find a loop hole or something and be able to give birth.
I adore him, but I suspect Jem might die of his illness in the final book. :( Unless Cassie makes a cure for him.

I think he will too, i lvoe both guys so much!! Will is a sexy badass and Jem is sooo sweet! And i lvoe Bromance... seriously, i think i would love this book more if it was just about Jem and Will's friendship XD.

I don't think Jem will die, i mean he CAN'T. the fans him. unlike usual love triangles where you obsess over one guy and hate the other, both Will and Jem are so awesome. Jem's amazing and i really hope he doesn't die either.

Exactly, there's not much point of making the readers hate one of the guys since ur gonna end up making half of ur fans upset. Since Jem and Will are both awesomoe, no one would be really upset if she ends up with one or the other. I love Will, but I wouldn't mind her being with Jem either.

why does Will act the way he does? its kind of like Clary and her brother, an angel and a demon. OMG! clockwork ANGEL and will is on the front cover! Will is the angel of the two i bet he has that star mark on his shoulder, and there r parts that hint that he he isn't all that bad ass, that its just a cover. and he doesn't drink he just walks around then comes up with a story later on.

hes not that bad. hes an angel underneath. no smell of alcohol when he claimed to have had 3 drinks and was smashed over the head with a bottle of rum. he probably is basically like jace in attitude but he doesn't drink or get into bar fights, at least not often.
