Team Will vs. Team Jem
This is legitimately the first book where I can't decide who I like better. I love Will and Jem! Though I was for Jem at first. Guess I'll have 2 read CP to decide

There is someone in this group that wanted him to die. Poor Jem ;~;
I can't believe someone wants him to die. How can anyone resist a character who is kind, strong, hot (maybe not hot like Will, but in his own way), smart, and downright lovable?

I have to admit, I never thought Will could die. I always thought Jem might though. i have a bad feeling about Jem, but I am still totally TEAM JEM!!

I couldn't imagine something like that. There was this teaser that had Tessa saying that Jem was complete goodness! And that will and made Jem mad enough, so it just proves that he could drive saints to madness...
So its weird that Jem would die. He won't. Cassie wouldn't do that to us.
I won't like Jem to die. He's too good to have such a short life. I'm sure Cassie knows that XDI'm Team Will, though. I feel like Will and Tessa is the OTP on this series, but of course that's just my opinion.
Obviously Will loves Tessa enough to let go because he thinks she's too good for him. In which case Tessa will develop feelings for Jem, once she realizes Will is pushing her away. And of course, Will would like that and would let that happen, being the cynical guy he is. So I think she'd end up with Jem.

thats true! I hope Jem doesnt die that would be way to obvious...and sad=(I didn't think about it like that...she could end up with Jem even though Will has feelings for her, but if Jem dies she would end up with will wouldnt she?

Exactly! That's what i think. Will's "past" does not give him an excuse to act the way he does.
I was never torn..it's always been Will and Tessa for me. I think Jem is sweet and nice, but..I don't find him that interesting. Honestly I wanted him with Sophie even before Sophie indicates her crush on him. It's pretty obvious that Will's behavior is not just your average jerk. He tries very hard to push people away..and CC has said he's the most tortured of all her characters and he breaks her heart. There's a secret in CP that we finally find out, one that helps us understand Will. Personally, I've considered that he's cursed, and anyone who loves him will be cursed. Jem is already dying, so he can't really count, can he? Be a pretty good reason to push people away.
I think we need to wait until CP to make assumptions on Will, and probably Jem, for the matter. Kind of hard to judge who is best for Tessa when we don't really know either that well yet. :P But for now, I'm for Will, but that's always subject to change.

I think that many secrets will be revealed in CP that will help us understand the characters even better.
I really think that Jem is the kinder and sweeter of the two. He always knew exactly what to say and do to make Tessa feel good about herself, and for a while it seemed as if he was the only one who genuinely cared about her. However, Will is all good looks and intrigue and Tessa just has such an ATTRACTION to him. My vote is that she chooses Will and Jem can marry me. ;-) Not really; but it's a tough one to call. It's what I consider to be the first real Cassie Clare love-triangle, too- since Simon never really had a chance with Clary. I think that as long as whomever does NOT get Tessa ends up falling in love with someone else instead, that that is OK with me. =-)
Oh yeah because super good looks are everything. Jem sounds hotter, IMO.

The Iron Knight doesnt come out where I live till November 1st :( btw I'm already planning my wedding to him and Will
I read The Iron Knight over two months ago.I hated Ash in the first 3 books he's almost as bad as Will.
