Romania & Dracula

If I manage to go interrailing some day I will definitely visit Transsilvania and Romania in general.

Until then, do you have any recommendations concerning Romania? Whatever comes to your mind, classic or contemporary.

And what about Dracula fiction? I'm looking for something along the lines of The Historian which I liked very much. So mainly the historical figure behind Dracula.

Fiction or non-fiction, whatever you've got. I'm desperate.

LOVED the historian... welllll flipping between past and present is the labyrinth by kate mosse which was good & renfield retelling of dracula thru renfield's eyes & the grand complication & The Egyptologist which is like the historian (kindaish) egyptian style... but not many dracula books out there, quite saddening if u ask me
