End to End Game

Thought I'd try another game. Here's how you play. First person lists an author's name:
Chloe Neill

Next person lists another author whose first name OR last name begins with the LAST letter of the first OR last name of the previous author:

So since Chloe ends in E and Neill ends in L, either
Edgar Rice Burroughs (First name begins with E) OR
Crabbe Evers (Last name begins with E) OR
Laurell K. Hamilton (First name begins with L) OR
Hugh Lofting (Last name begins with L) would be acceptable
And so on.
No repeats allowed and middle names are ignored.

I'll start with Jim Butcher. Next person has to give an author whose first or last name begins with an M or an R. Let's see how long we can keep this going.
