is next in line!
Ok Amazon is doing some really weird price match thing lately so keep yours eyes open. Two days ago I snatched up
for a quarter. Yesterday I got the whole album of Lady Antebellum for a quarter and then today I got Cold Play's newest CD for a quarter! I am going into cardiac arrest with all thse great deals.

People on Goodreads have been telling me Bridget! As far as I know the Anthony Bordain book is still 25 cents and so is the Coldplay album today. I guess they are trying to steal the thunder of Google who just launched a new site and is also having sales this week.

Just Dl angelfall gotta know what all the hype is about :)
I really like that series, Abbey. Good PNR. I'm sure you'll love Angelfall. :)

Don't read the Jack Daniels series then
- they get pretty graphic but I like them.

Oh, Matched ... meh. I had high expectations since a lot of people said it was good. But I thought the characters were pretty dry and the world-building wasn't detailed enough.

So, I just started:
I've only read the first chapter so far. I've heard pretty mixed things about this book so ... we'll see. I like the writing style; it's interesting how it has all these "cross-outs" in it. (Kind of hard to explain what I mean. It's like, the author crosses out certain thingslike this!) Although, I feel like it's a little ... cold, like there's not much of a personality to it. However, like I said, I've only read the first chapter. We'll see how it goes ...

I read it long back and didn't like it.

I too just started and finished the first chapter and found that crossed out word thing, I have never encountered that in a book before. Though it's a new thing, I'm not completely warming upto it.
Keep reading and let us know how you like it, Brigid and Pragya. I'm curious about that one.

ROLENDA: How are you liking Fever? I've heard some really mixed feelings on it so I'm a bit tentative to read it. BLUEMOON: I know how you feel! I've been slower than usual lately. Life has caught up to me :P But you'll find time eventually. Maybe you just need to find a book that really captures your attention!
Finally finished
! Such a looooooong book! Or at least it felt that way. I very much enjoyed it but will be waiting a bit to read the next in the series so I can catch up on other reading.Started
last night and so far so good!

Bluemoon don't worry about the reading pace thing I don't know if it is the unexpected heat here in IL but I have been passing out (seriously passing out!) before I can even read 10 pages every night this week. I really like Angelfall so far but I have only read 90 pages in a week (I normally read 90 pages a day). Ugh!
I've been the same way! I can usually read all night, but I've been super tired lately too. I am going to do some serious catching up over spring break though!!
I guess I should clarify that no alcohol has been involved with my passing out! Kourtni is it hotter than blazes down in Oklahoma?
Haha, Heidi! I wouldn't necessarily say its hot, but I am at my happiest when its 100º outside. It is definitely warmer than it usually is in March though! Its been in the mid 80's this week.
Ugh! 100??? Doesn't it get humid as heck there? It does here. It was 86 here yesterday but at least it was not humid. The stupid mosquitos never even died off because it was so warm here this winter. I am afraid what temps we will see in July!
LoL! Yes I love hot temps so I can stay in the pool/lake/ocean all summer! I suppose its a little humid here. I'm used to the humidity from living in Houston so I may not notice it as much as others. And I loathe mosquitos with all of my being!!!
Kristina wrote: "I started
last night and I'm halfway done"Oooo do you like it?! I've heard some awesome things about it!
Yeah I'm actually surprised that I like it! I wasn't sure about it but I also heard really good things. It's different than I was expecting it to be. Definitely a little gruesome and graphic, which doesn't bother me but just a warning haha!
KRISTINA: Woot! Nah, I don't mind gruesome and graphic. Thanks for the warning though! I'll be sure to pick it up soon...hopefully :D

It is okay so far. And I mean 'just ok'. I think I'm 80% done. I hope the remaining 20% will change how I feel about it.
ROLENDA: hm....I guess I'll borrow it from the library. I look forward to your thoughts once you done completely :)
I just finished
Neverwhere on audio (Neil Gaiman is a fantastic narrator -- it is hard to believe he is the author) and plowed through 100 pages of
Angelfall last night so I only have like 45 pages left (yay!). Up next for me will be
Spell Bound in print (yay Kristina!) and
Hold Me Closer, Necromancer on audio.

Can't wait to hear what you think about Angelfall, Heidi!
I'm almost done with The Iron Daughter. I really like this series!

Personally, I really liked Neverwhere. It was pretty weird but ... you know, fun to read. And I've always loved Neil Gaiman and his style. :]
