My thoughts exactly. I am in awe of her.

I seriously think I need to buy a print copy of Anna & The French Kiss because I loved it so much.

I'm about half way through with it and i got to say I'm really liking it. But I'm also in to zombies and gore like stuff.

Are you liking it? I really had to drag myself through that one.
I finished Blood Red Road yesterday. *Loves* It was so good! :)
And now I am reading...
It's interesting so far. I like it. But I'm not quite sure what to make of it yet. We'll see.

I am glad you liked Blood Red Road Brigid I have had to defend it a little today so it is nice someone else liked it.
Defend it? Where? *takes out sword* It was one of those books I couldn't imagine not liking ... But, ah well. Everyone's entitled to their opinions.
Oh some of my GR friends had a readalong and were commenting while they read it. I kind of think the readalong may have influenced them more to the negative side, but who knows! You are right, everyone is entitled to their opinion. It was a book you just had to "go with", so I am sure not everyone was able to do that.

I like alternating with books :-) but if that's too distracting for you, then read the book that you are most interested in. :-D

But uhm, I don't think I'll be able to read anything else for awhile. I'm still kind of trying to learn how to breathe again.

LOL - Brigid, if you're into whipping out your sword to defend the book's honour, you might want to read Waterfall (see review http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...). Lots of taking out swords and battling for someone's honour!

Um, stick to Blood Red Road. I loved it.
Halo ... not so much. O_O

I finished Life of Pi yesterday. Oh my gosh, what a great book. My mind was just ... totally blown. (It's not exactly YA, but the main character is 16 so it could qualify as YA I suppose.)
Now I'm reading:
As far as Neal Shusterman books go it's not my favorite. His more recent books are much better, in my opinion. But this one is still pretty good ... and a quick read, too.

I like Full Tilt, too. Not as much as Unwind, Bruiser, and the Skinjacker trilogy ... but it's still good. I'm really close to finishing it. I should go do that.
YAAAYYY YOU FINISHED BITTEN AFTER LIKE A YEAR!
And I'm glad you're finally reading Blood Red Road! :D

I had trouble with The Red Pyramid at first but ultimately loved it. And the second book was a lot better than the first, in my opinion. :)

I'm still working on Full Tilt, but now I'm also reading:
It's my assigned summer reading. x_x
So far it's creeping me out a bit. I'm only on, like, page 10. But so far it's all been about how some scientists think it's going to be okay to marry robots in the future ... O_o Uhhhhh.
This is non-fiction, by the way. And not YA either.
