I'm still reading Last Sacrifice (Vampire Academy, #6) by Richelle Mead . Haven't had much reading time lately and it is a big book. I need to hurry up and read it because I got The Gathering (Darkness Rising, #1) by Kelley Armstrong and Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1) by Ilona Andrews from the library and I bought How to Ruin a Summer Vacation (How to Ruin, #1) by Simone Elkeles and I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You (Gallagher Girls, #1) by Ally Carter for my Kindle.

Seth (ninjaaaaaofwritingbooks) | 240 comments SPEAKING OF LOVE TRIANGLES.

I decided that I like this love triangle, which is a miracle because I hate them. But it's cool, because the girl's a succubus, and she makes out with this werewolf because they regenerate quickly, but she doesn't really like him and likes this other guy.

It's a cool love triangle.

Kourtni (kourkyloo) | 732 comments Finished Hex Hall yesterday and liked it so much I went out to find Demon Glass! Unfortunately I don't have a book store in my town so I went to our local Target and it was a no go. I made myself feel better by buying The Help! Yay!

And I am reading Divergent as of last night. I am pretty much flying through it. If I didn't need sleep to function I would most likely be done with it. So needless to say it's pretty good so far!

You're finally going to read The Help! Yay! I'm so jealous about Hex Hall. I've been wanting to read it but it is too expensive for Kindle and my library doesn't have it. :(

I have Divergent but have to read my library books first.

message 1312: by Kourtni (new)

Kourtni (kourkyloo) | 732 comments All your library books are good too though! And I am really excited about The Help! I saw the trailer for the movie a few days ago and decided it was about time to read it. :)

It reminded me a lot of The Piper's Son by Melina Marchetta (which is of course better because it is by my favorite author). I am sucker for guys in pain I guess.

I don't know what is wrong with me. I can't stand to see guys cry (unless they are the type who do it all the time).

message 1325: by Seth (new)

Seth (ninjaaaaaofwritingbooks) | 240 comments I haven't cried in, like, a whole year o.o Also, I love to see people cry. It makes me feel closer to them.

message 1326: by [deleted user] (new)

I cry all the time, happy or sad. Seeing other people cry makes me cry. I can't help it!

I finished Last Sacrifice (Vampire Academy, #6) by Richelle Mead and am sad to say goodbye to Rose. I love her!

Will be starting Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1) by Ilona Andrews today. Yay!

message 1327: by Seth (new)

Seth (ninjaaaaaofwritingbooks) | 240 comments Are the Vampire Academy books actually good? Because every time I see them I'm like, "Oh, look. Another shitty vampire series." You know?

message 1328: by [deleted user] (new)

Well, I liked the original shitty vampire series so not sure if you would like it or not. ;) I think a lot of people who didn't like Twilight liked VA.

bwhahaha!

message 1330: by Seth (new)

Seth (ninjaaaaaofwritingbooks) | 240 comments Well, I didn't *hate* Twilight. I just didn't think it was that well-written, and Bella was a Mary-sue, and I just didn't think the series was all that good.

message 1331: by Kourtni (new)

Kourtni (kourkyloo) | 732 comments Hahahaha! It's okay Shannen, I liked both of them too! Vampire Academy was very different though. Rose is a very strong female protag and miss her too. :(

message 1332: by [deleted user] (new)

I knew Heidi would like that!

You would probably like VA, Seth. If you can borrow the first one, give it a try.

message 1333: by Seth (new)

Seth (ninjaaaaaofwritingbooks) | 240 comments Okay, cool :D Will do. I think my library has it. But I'll try to find it on EPUB/PDF first.

message 1334: by [deleted user] (new)

Rose is definitely no Bella. I got annoyed with Rose's friend, Lissa, at first but she gets better.

message 1335: by Jaimie (new)

Jaimie (jaimier) | 123 comments Rose is pretty much a badass. The first book is a little slow with because of the world/character building but picks up a lot in the second and so on.

message 1336: by [deleted user] (new)

I started Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1) by Ilona Andrews at lunch and I hope it gets a lot better. So far, it's pretty dreadful.

message 1337: by Jaimie (new)

Jaimie (jaimier) | 123 comments The first one is a lot of world building and drags a bit. I really enjoyed the series.

Hahaha, oh snap that made me laugh! The first book is not the best, but I don't think I ever thought of it as dreadful! Just slow, LoL. The books get better and better and I know in my heart that you will also love Curran as I do. :)

message 1339: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't care for the way it is written. But I'll trudge through it for my Goodreads sisters. ;)

message 1340: by Rach (new)

Jenny (jennyc89) I'm currently reading The Mists of Avalon (Avalon, #1) by Marion Zimmer Bradley . However, because it is so big I carry Unequal Childhoods Class, Race, and Family Life by Annette Lareau around in my purse to read on the go. I'm also reading Time's Edge by J.M. Dattilo on my Nook app for my laptop.
