I started Far Far Away Far Far Away by Tom McNeal on audiobook and like it so far.

I see that Pivot Point Pivot Point (Pivot Point, #1) by Kasie West is $1.99 today - I may buy it. Anyone read it?? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008...

Huh, I haven't heard of Pivot Point until now ... but I see a lot of my favorite Goodreads reviewers have enjoyed it, so it looks promising. :)

So, I finished:

Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1) by Sarah J. Maas

It was ... ehh. Kind of slow, in my opinion. And the main character annoyed me. But I've heard the sequel is much better, so I might still give it a try.

Now I'm about halfway through:

Hurt by Tabitha Suzuma

Good so far! Very sad, but good. :)

Just finished...

Heist Society (Heist Society, #1) by Ally Carter

It was a good read, but I think I prefer her

I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You (Gallagher Girls, #1) by Ally Carter

Series. I listened to the audiobook and that made me like it a lot.

Bluemoon! Don't give up on Heist Society. It gets better with each book IMO.

message 6512: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca (bexlibris) I really like/love the Heist Society books but I only read the first book of the Gallagher Girls series- I feel like I am the opposite of everyone else and I should go back an read the rest of them. I like both books I just never continued with the GG series.

message 6513: by Becky (new)

Becky (bek11) | 451 comments I read Where the Mountain Meets the Moon by Grace Lin . If you like junior fiction or good storytelling, I would recommend it to you.

I started Grave Mercy (His Fair Assassin, #1) by Robin LaFevers .

Jenny I am going to start the audio of Also Known As Also Known As (Also Known As, #1) by Robin Benway on audio today. It is narrated by the author which I am often leery about - hope she is a good narrator!

I really like it! Thanks so much for the rec. I know I am choosy but when I love something I tell everyone (multiple times -hahahaha) The author is actually doing a good job as a narrator too btw.

Finished:

The Wikkeling by Steven Arntson

It was ... okay. Not that great, IMO. But it had cool illustrations at least.

Started:

All the Truth That's in Me by Julie Berry

So far it's nothing like I expected it to be. It's pretty confusing but I think it will get better as it pieces together more. So yeah, I like what I've read of it!

Rebecca (bexlibris) I am reading These Broken Stars (Starbound, #1) by Amie Kaufman and I am still reading Never Fade (The Darkest Minds, #2) by Alexandra Bracken - I really like both of them but I have been a bit slump-y so it's taking me a while to get through Never Fade.

HEIDI: I'm surprised you haven't read GG. Anyways, its a pretty good read.

Just finished reading...
Alice in Zombieland (The White Rabbit Chronicles, #1) by Gena Showalter
I'm actually really surprised I like the book. It's a bit cliche, but it was entertaining.

Now Reading...

Finished:

All the Truth That's in Me by Julie Berry

It was pretty good. Probably a 3.5-4 stars ... I think I need to "digest" it a little.

For the next few days I'll probably be focusing more on books for school, but I also plan to start soon:

Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder

Early thoughts on Far Far Away is that it's got my attention! I really like the narrator! It's got a bit of The Book Thief feel with the German. I just found out why Jacob is with the kid and who Jacob is. I think that's why I'm getting invested in the characters.
