Huh, I haven't heard of Pivot Point until now ... but I see a lot of my favorite Goodreads reviewers have enjoyed it, so it looks promising. :)
So, I finished:
It was ... ehh. Kind of slow, in my opinion. And the main character annoyed me. But I've heard the sequel is much better, so I might still give it a try.
Now I'm about halfway through:
Good so far! Very sad, but good. :)

It was a good read, but I think I prefer her
Series. I listened to the audiobook and that made me like it a lot.

I really like/love the Heist Society books but I only read the first book of the Gallagher Girls series- I feel like I am the opposite of everyone else and I should go back an read the rest of them. I like both books I just never continued with the GG series.
Hey! I live! I have to read almost all of The Knife of Never Letting go by 1pm on Monday. SO EXCITE. We're going to a coffee shop to discuss it then :D
Jenny I am going to start the audio of Also Known As
on audio today. It is narrated by the author which I am often leery about - hope she is a good narrator!

WOOT! Two in a row! YES!! LOL I just feel so proud of myself when you like a book I recommend, I know how choosy you are on books! :) The sequel is just as good, if not better!

I haven't had a chance to read except in bits and pieces the last few days. I finally read for longer than 10 minutes LATE LATE LATE last night and did NOT want to put this down to sleep.

I really like it! Thanks so much for the rec. I know I am choosy but when I love something I tell everyone (multiple times -hahahaha) The author is actually doing a good job as a narrator too btw.

KAREN: I read the first book and wasn't that impressed with it. Are the other two better than the first?

I have not read GG but is like a snarkier/sweeter Heist Society book so far.

Finished:
It was ... okay. Not that great, IMO. But it had cool illustrations at least.
Started:
So far it's nothing like I expected it to be. It's pretty confusing but I think it will get better as it pieces together more. So yeah, I like what I've read of it!

Currently reading

I am reading
and I am still reading

What are your early thoughts on Far Far Away Karen?
Ugh! Everyone is reading These Broken Stars. I am so behind.

KAREN: thanks for letting me know. Maybe I'll give the second book a chance.
HEIDI: I'm surprised you haven't read GG. Anyways, its a pretty good read.
Just finished reading...
I'm actually really surprised I like the book. It's a bit cliche, but it was entertaining.
Now Reading...

It was pretty good. Probably a 3.5-4 stars ... I think I need to "digest" it a little.
For the next few days I'll probably be focusing more on books for school, but I also plan to start soon:

Early thoughts on Far Far Away is that it's got my attention! I really like the narrator! It's got a bit of The Book Thief feel with the German. I just found out why Jacob is with the kid and who Jacob is. I think that's why I'm getting invested in the characters.
Heidi, the authors of These Broken Stars are going to be doing a Q&A next month. The book was so good!!

I really liked it but I will warn you that it kind of dragged in the middle. The ending made up for it though :) Overall I thought it was unique.
