C. | 70 comments After a reading slump where I just wasn't being able to stick to with anything, and everything seemed so sad and depressing[Esperanza Rising,Garden Spells,Shanghai Girls],I decided to try one of my newest Kindle Freebies, but it turned out to be too vulgar and crude for my taste~ Five Minutes Late by Rich Amooi .

I believe the humorous regency trilogy will be more to my liking~

Lady Fiasco, My Notorious Aunt Book 1 by Kathleen Baldwin

Mistaken Kiss A Humorous Traditional Regency Romance (My Notorious Aunt, Book Two) by Kathleen Baldwin

Cut from the Same Cloth A Humorous Traditional Regency Romance (My Notorious Aunt, Book Three 3) by Kathleen Baldwin

Now I'm reading The Silkworm, the second book of Cormoran Strike series, and The Labyrinth, mysterious and intriguing

Linda Acaster (goodreadscomlindaacaster) | 51 comments Currently reading British Crime Buried Deep. Its dense start reflects the ponderous nature of most modern policework, but once the tangled threads started to unravel it moves at a breathless pace and I'm beginning to realise the start holds a lot of the clues. Enjoying it.

W. Frazier | 20 comments I use Overdrive/Public Library ebooks, and just found a great way to get to the top of the waiting lists for just-released or soon-to-be-released titles. (My list includes Memory Man, Gathering Prey, 14th Deadly Sin and Dance of the Bones.) Search for the book title in Overdrive, or the author's name. Make sure your search retrieves some kind of results. Then on the left-hand column it says "All Titles", "Available Titles", "Titles to Recommend" -- Hit "Titles to Recommend" and you can enter your e-mail address and be put on a hold list. (Not all libraries have this option, but it's a great workaround from having to search for a new title release every day.)

message 2494: by MELISSIA (last edited May 08, 2015 05:56PM) (new)

MELISSIA LENOX (love_melissialenox) | 2 comments I'm listening to The 100 Year Old Man Who Climbed Out The Window And Disappeared by Jonas Jonasson. Such a great book to listen to due to the incredibly talented narrator Steven Crossley and the hilarious story itself. I plan to find what other works Jonasson has crafted and read them as well. As for Mr. Crossley, I imagine the significance of his contribution to any story he narrates to be great - a remarkable sense of timing, spot-on adjustments in tone, and an array of appropos voices. Steven Crossley as the book's narrator prompted me to use one of my cherished Audible credits to purchase this book without first learning anything else about it. My mood is instantly transformed to good no matter how i am feeling before I hit play. I hold no reservation, place no limitation, on my 5 star recommendation of The 100 Year Old Man Who Climbed Out The Window And Disappeared.
