Currently I'm reading
,
, and
I'm not LOVING SON yet, but I'm giving it a few more page before I give it up.
Today I have read and finished My Husband's On Facebook! - Unpublished & My Husband's On Facebook! Unpublished - Richard Parise. Now I am reading Guilty Wives - James Patterson.
I've finished reading Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter by Seth Grahame-Smith this morning. I try to read at least one classic per month so this month I've decided to read The Last of the Mohicans by James Fenimore Cooper.
With Fire and Sword by Henryk Sienkiewicz
The old translation that's free. Formatting is just fine.
A huge historical epic set in the 1600s. Poland's most popular novel? 1000 pages and there are sequels of 2000 and 800 pages. I feel like going travelling because I'm set, me and my Kindle. Except I hear there's a risk you ignore life until you're finished. Let's see.
I just finished Gone Girl and The Blue Amulet. Now I'm really enjoying The Heretic Queen by Michelle Moran.
I just finished
today. I loved it from the very beginning. The book is loaded with nature metaphors for life and very interesting characters.
I've finished reading The Last of the Mohicans by James Fenimore Cooper yesterday. Now I'm reading Visions of Sugar Plums by Janet Evanovich.
I'm on a zombie and vampire binge right now...just finished Dying Days ...it was a different twist on the zombies....on to the next!
I've already finished Visions of Sugar Plums by Janet Evanovich, which was a short but hilarious novel, an now I'm about to start reading The Girl Who Chased the Moon by Sarah Addison Allen.
I've just gotten my Kindle in the mail 2 days ago and fatefully stumbled onto this group the same day and just had to join to get the How-To on Kindle workings. I picked up Lucky Man: A Memoir as my first 1.99 Kindle read and have The Handmaid's Tale on there from the library. :)
I have just finished "Gone Girl" and its wonderfully bizarre! As a clergyman who meets with couples prior to their wedding - I think (with a smirk) perhaps I should make this required reading! An odd predicament but unfortunately a not so odd awareness of falleness, of quirky humanity and compromise. "Gone Girl" gives "happily ever after" a big question mark and rivets the reader into who is crazier - husband or wife.
I'm working on my TBR list. Just finished and posted reviews for: Troubled Sea The last 1/3rd of this book was a nailbitter! I read Surface Tension this features a woman tug-boat operator, Sechelle Sullivan. The bad guys are really really bad! Wonderful writer and I loved her book: Circle Of Bones: a Caribbean Thriller which is about a WWII french submarine/treasure ship sunk in the caribbean. If you like Clive Cussler, Dan Brown this is for you! I'm writing the sequel to A Dangerous Harbor
I've finished reading The Girl Who Chased the Moon by Sarah Addison Allen this morning and now I'm about to start I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith.
A Modern Witch is the first of a series recommended by Nathan Lowell. I'm not very far into it yet, but so far I'm liking it. It has some very good reviews.
I just got A Modern Witch to start reading later this week. The last book I read on my kindle was Don't Let Me Go.
I have Prime, mainly for the free shipping, but I definitely enjoy the lending library and the prime instant videos. I do wish they would let you have one prime video per month the same way you get books, though. I have a number of situations where I don't have wifi access and would like to be able to watch a movie.

"I have read all of her books and just finished "Acceptable Loss" which was outstanding (I gave a quick review on my Goodreads page.) Have you read her WW1 series yet?

no I'm working my way through William Monk right now and really enjoying them. Just finished
and now reading
My beloved Kindle! I'm reading The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and 50 Great Myths of Popular Psychology
My kindle is keeping me very happy in my new hometown, I'm reading Dreadnought by Jack Campbell (if you are into Sci Fi space battles, the Lost Fleet Saga is fantastic) and a fun history called Samurai William about the Englishman who opened Japan to trade for the English/Dutch. Both are very enjoyable
I've finished reading I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith and I've started The Last Girl by Jane Casey this morning.
Reading The Seven Turns of the Snail's Shell and Sweet Masterpiece and awaiting email to pick up A Game of Thrones.
Finished With the Old Breed: At Peleliu and Okinawa by Eugene B. Sledge and now reading Vanity Fair.
Almost finished A Hidden Witch. Not as good as the first book in the series, but it gets better toward the end. Also reading How the Mind Works for a Goodreads group.
I just finished reading this on my Kindle. I really loved it, glad I came across it. If you like great characters and really strong writing then check it out.
I'm currently reading
by Rachel Joyce. This is one of those rare times I paid over $10 for a newly released ebook.
I finished the 3rd book in the Maeve Kerrigan series
by Jane Casey last night - I really enjoyed this novel and I can't wait till the next one! Jane Casey is becoming one of my favourite crime authors. This morning, I began reading
by Heather Gudenkauf.
I've given up on Lifeblood - J. Przymus for now and now reading The Ghost Rock Cafe - Chinle Miller.
I finished reading
by Heather Gudenkauf yesterday - It's a brilliant novel. I couldn't put it down! I honestly couldn't recommend it highly enough. Now I'm about to start the 9th book in the Stephanie Plum series
by Janet Evanovich.
