With Fire and Sword by Henryk Sienkiewicz
The old translation that's free. Formatting is just fine.
A huge historical epic set in the 1600s. Poland's most popular novel? 1000 pages and there are sequels of 2000 and 800 pages. I feel like going travelling because I'm set, me and my Kindle. Except I hear there's a risk you ignore life until you're finished. Let's see.

I picked up Lucky Man: A Memoir as my first 1.99 Kindle read and have The Handmaid's Tale on there from the library. :)

I'm writing the sequel to A Dangerous Harbor

The last book I read on my kindle was Don't Let Me Go.

I have read all of her books and just finished "Acceptable Loss" which was outstanding (I gave a quick review on my Goodreads page.) Have you read her WW1 series yet?

no I'm working my way through William Monk right now and really enjoying them. Just finished

I just finished reading this on my Kindle. I really loved it, glad I came across it. If you like great characters and really strong writing then check it out.

Now I'm about to start the 9th book in the Stephanie Plum series
