Catherine I haven't decided yet if I'm going to make a list or just pick books at random. I kind of like the freedom of just walking up to a shelf and picking something. I'll decide when it gets closer.

Lisa S (kasey_k_fan) Even if you make a list doesn't mean you have to stick to it. I didn't last month.

Catherine True, Lisa! Good point.

Debbie Maskus (delphimo) | 371 comments I never make any definite plans of books to read. Why? I have books on hold at the library and never know when they will arrive, and then I receive advance copies of new books. My last resort all are the books that I have at home.

Catherine One book I for sure want to read is The Help by Kathryn Stockett. I own this book and haven't gotten around to reading it yet, and EVERYONE's talking about it!

i'm going to attempt to knock down the DTB TBR pile (I read most of my stuff on Kindle now, but I have so many normal books to read) - these all fall into the Read the Lifetime challenge on RRRC (a book published in each year you have been alive) as well as the 144 in 2010

Scandalous Spirits
Montana Man
Bitter Sweet
Passion's Chains
Angel Hunter
Kentucky Woman

Nairabell Hopefully I'll be reading Isobel Bird's Circle of Three series. I liked the first one, but I haven't read the others. There's 15 total so I'm not sure how far I'll get through them.

Catherine Is anyone going to read books already in progress? I have 3 books going that I'm sure I won't be done with by Thursday, and I was planning to use some of my time to finish those.

I might - all the books I listed were new ones that I want to start, but I have three in progress to finish up some other challenges for April, so if i haven't finished those I'll likely do them first - my only issue is that they are all on kindle and I can't have my kindle at work, so I have my DTB's on standby

Afsana (afsanaz) I will be finishing off whatever I am reading otherwise have to get back to it after and you can loose your flow.

Then I will try and get some of my books for my challnges read.

Contemplating reading the smaller ones to clear more of my tbr

BJ Rose (bjrose) | 93 comments I'm planning on just continuing with books in progress, but will jot down the page # at beginning of readathon so I don't claim pages read before it starts. Right now I'm listening to Speaker for the Dead, but will likely finish reading Hiding in the Shadows before Thursday noon. After those, I'll read:

Bitten, which will complete my April PNR challenge Yeah!
then one of these library books:
To the Last Man: A Novel of the First World War
Caligula: The Corruption of Power
The House at Riverton
and when I need a lighter interlude, I'll switch to:
Deep in the Valley, or maybe
Jennifer Crusie's Getting Rid Of Bradley

Catherine I'll do the same thing too, BJ, make sure I only list the # of pages I actually read rather than listing the pages of the whole book. Thanks for the reminder!
