Currently Reading? Just Finished?

I've read some Ridley Pearson but I don't think it was from the Lou Boldt series. I would've remembered the Seattle underground. Now I'm on the hunt for it. Thanks for the tip. (God bless the Rock Bottom Remainders!)

How was the Tabitha King book, I think I tried to read that one when I was a teen - I don't think I got thru it - maybe I should try again.

Thanks. I added it to my TBR list.

Jan, my apologies. I didn't mean to post what people would consider a spoiler. I've deleted my post.
I just finished No Greater Sacrifice by John Stipa. I have read this book 3 times in last 2-3 years. I have enjoyed reading it everytime. Thanks John

That's okay. I'll have forgotten all about it by the time I get there or even finish this book.

"Small World" was ok, the premise of being able to shrink people and things was quite interesting, I just don't think the author developed it enough. She spent more time dwelling on the affairs of the big people, and the thread that was most interesting there she didn't spend enough time on . So . . . could have been better.

I LOVE my Pike!!

then will be moving on to From The Dead by Mark Billingam
The Visitor by lee child
Stephanie did you like The missing by Chris mooney? he is a good writer

Me too, on a Reacher kick! In the last month I've read Running B..."</i>
I think my favorite so far is [book:The Enemy. But I liked Killing Floor also. Haven't read one yet that I didn't like. Enemy was standout though.

Just starting

It's such a great book, and a great series. Be prepared to have all the books handy. I read the first, then immediately started the second. The second got a bit boring in the middle, but as soon as I finished it, I immediately drove to the store and bought the third.

The first one is the best of the three. You'll definitely want to read the other two shortly after finishing the first to keep the story fresh in your mind.

Patience, Avisek, patience. It'll get there.

I, too, enjoy this series. I think that she captures the era pretty well. As a mystery, they come across as being fairly light. But I still like them

I highly recommend T. Jefferson Parker. His books are excellent. Have you ever tried James W. Hall? His books are quite good as well.

Thanks... I love Parker and will check out James Hall. Thanks to Gatorman! I have been reading through some reviews here and I have an enormous problem with reviewers who summarize a plot, and pass it off as a review. This isn't a book report site, this is a reviewer site. The plot doesn't need to be revealed, just what you liked about the book and why, or what you didn't like and why.

Killing Floor is very good but it's written in first person which is something I had to get used to.

I liked Echo Park a lot - the Bosch books are interesting and hard to put down. You might try The Blue Edge Of Midnight by Jonathon King. It's part of a series that takes place deep in the Florida Everglades, so the setting is very unusual...I really like that book.

The sound is a bit muffled...hopefully I can get used to the narrator.

Patience, Avisek, patience. It'll get there."
It sure did explode..right on my face !! It almost made me squirm with hatred...And I threw the book once, out of sheer rage and agony over how low humanity has stooped due to some grossly sick fucking bastards !

I really am enjoying this book. All the books I read are first person.

How is the new Todd book? I just re-picked up A Cold Treachery. So, I've got a few to go.

I really enjoyed
