Jim | 6484 comments I've never been a bridesmaid either.

Taco John's has some kind of tots around here.

You're not missing ANYthing in the bridesmaid department...either of you. Though getting Jim in a bad dress might be amusing.

Taco John's what has tots?

I would love to skydive but haven't yet (still a minor)
but have been to a vertical wind tunnel

message 205: by Lori (new)

Lori I've never heard of tots.
I've never heard of Taco Time.
I've never heard of Tavo John's.
I've never eaten at Taco Bell. Ever. Never will.

I've never seen nor will I see Titanic! I think it's given me more appreciation of Leo.

I've never lusted for Leo.

message 206: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Lori wrote: "I've never lusted for Leo."

Nor have I. Although I did have the hots for a Leo once.

I haven't heard, seen or lusted after any of these things either.

And I have never had the hots for a Leo. (I'm not ruling it out though.)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Oh, correct, Larry. It was cool though--I had no idea how different the 1st 2nd and 3rd class passengers experiences were.

message 212: by [deleted user] (last edited Sep 21, 2010 11:58AM) (new)

I don't hate Titanic exactly. He dies, I know he dies. Why put myself through that? There is enough stuff that sucks in real life that I try not to purposefully put it into my entertainment.

I will never skydive. I think that anyone who jumps out of a perfectly good airplane on it's way to an airport has a wire crossed. Just my opinion of course. Could be my rabid fear of heights talking. More than two rungs up a ladder and my vertigo kicks in, so...

I have never had the hots for:

Leo
Tom Cruise
Brad Pitt
John Travolta
Matthew McConaughey or
Matt Damon

I tend to like the odd ones like:

David Hyde Pierce from Frasier (I think he might be gay in real life)
Garrett Wang from ST Voyager
Colin Firth - HUGE!
Mark Ruffalo

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I've never thought Tom Cruise was attractive either. Heck, no one on that first list actually. Brad Pitt got a brief blip of mild interest from me in Legends of the Fall and then it was over. Another one that I never found attractive was Mel Gibson. Or Richard Gere.

I did have a crush on Kevin Costner though when I was younger.

message 217: by ms.petra (new)

ms.petra (mspetra) now we will all get the answer to the truly important question: boxers, briefs, or commando?

message 218: by [deleted user] (new)

Boxers.

message 219: by Phil (new)

Jim's wearing a skirt, so my guess would be commando. Isn't that what kilt-wearers do?

Isn't there an IKEA in Seattle, Jackie?

message 227: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes, there is, Larry.

message 228: by [deleted user] (new)

Jacks isn't in Seattle though.

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments Ames is right. There's one in the Renton area, Larry, which is about an hour's unpleasant drive away from Olympia.
Fortunately, I don't need any furniture at the moment.

message 230: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) There's one in Portland, too, right?

I liked how Lisbeth Salander went to IKEA and furnished her whole apartment. She had everything delivered and assembled for her, too.

message 231: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes, right by the airport in Portland. Probably not much further of a drive for Jacks, and a lot more pleasant than trying to get through Seattle/Tacoma.

message 232: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I remember seeing it by the airport. I agree it's a much nicer drive (and destination).

message 233: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11837 comments Amelia wrote: "Yes, right by the airport in Portland. Probably not much further of a drive for Jacks, and a lot more pleasant than trying to get through Seattle/Tacoma."

And no sales tax.

message 234: by [deleted user] (new)

Amen!

message 235: by [deleted user] (new)

Though, if I go to Washington, all I have to do is show them my driver's license and they don't charge me any sales tax. I guess the Washington Department of Revenue realized that it behooved them to get Oregonian money through purchases without sales tax as opposed to getting no Oregonian money. :)

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments I love that Oregon doesn't have sales tax! I still spend too much at Powell's, but it all goes to books.

message 237: by [deleted user] (new)

Have you been to Powell's, Larry?

http://www.powells.com/locations/powe...

message 238: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I have not, unfortunately. I need to get there. I haven't been traveling to Portland much lately. I miss it. And I miss visiting with The Librarian.

message 239: by [deleted user] (new)

Jacks is way cool.

message 240: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) That's an extreme understatement.
