Our land line is required for Dish Network, monitoring our alarm system, and the occasional FAX.

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments ok, ok, i was just giving jim a hard time. since he has been away for a bit. BUT, he is my cubs buddy so i will even pay one month of his land line bill if the cubs win the central division

message 57: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments I can't get rid of my land line either. Apparently we need it for internet.

I've never eaten bacon.

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments I've had bacon, but I don't like it. It's too salty. I prefer an ALT - Avocado, Lettuce, and Tomato. With mayo and a little salt, it's really really good.

message 62: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments i prefer a BLB

message 63: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments And I don't need the tomato, for the most part. Avocado with some balsamic and salt and pepper makes a nice sandwich.

Technically, I have never had any pig product: bacon, ham, pork, etc... nor have I eaten shellfish of any kind, except once when I was 14 and I ordered a pasta with scallops at a restaurant, mistaking them for shallots.

message 64: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments I planted Early Girl and yellow cherry tomato seedlings yesterday. I only like local tomatoes.
They're just so darn pretty I can't resist, even if they do share a name with those washed out things in the supermarket.

message 65: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments i don't like a tomato. it is like they are not done inside or something.

message 66: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) You can have my tomatoes, too.

message 67: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments i grow all of those in my garden

Sarah | 13814 comments Durian?

message 75: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) That looks alien.

message 76: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments Looks like a medeival weapon, smells like a dead person.
And yet somehow a delicacy.

Check out the avclub's taste test: http://www.avclub.com/articles/durian...

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments Durian is the smelly one, right? That shows up on every Travel Channel show sooner or later.

message 78: by Kevin (new)

The bane of Andrew Zimmern's existence.

Kelly (Maybedog) (maybedog) Jackie, Mexi-nuggets are from Taco Time. Taco Bell around here doesn't have anything even remotely similar anymore but they did use to years ago. I eat at both way too often.

I have never:
Gotten married
Had a baby (but I have kids)
Had school detention
Stole anything from a store
Cheated on my taxes
Failed a course
Drank more than a sip of beer (yuck!)
Had a young puppy or kitten (youngest was 5 months)
Liked mayonnaise.
Been to Hawaii (everyone on the US West Coast it seems as been to Hawaii)

There are tons of "normal" things I've only done once and that was enough such as skiing, smoking a cigar, and eating clams.

I've been wondering what a Durian tree was ever since it appeared in my Farmville farm.

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments Kelly, yep, my quest for whatever Taco Bell called their tots was years and years ago.

And I've got to say that Mexi-Nuggets is a horrible name. I don't know what Taco Time is thinking!

message 82: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie I'll never read a Twilight book or watch any of the movies. I'll never read any of the Shopaholic series that all my co workers gush over.."rolls eyes"
I will not add "random" to my Vocabulary.
And I will never eat Seafood no matter how many times people tell me how great it is.

The End

message 88: by Dovewing (new)

Dovewing I don't like mint. Or Thin Mints. And I don't like gum. In fact, I can't stand the flavor of gum.

message 89: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments Any flavor of gum? Because gum isn't a flavor.

message 90: by Dovewing (new)

Dovewing Yes, any and all flavors of gum. also, the chemical base or whatever it is before they add flavoring tastes bad.

Félix (habitseven) ... but I've been to Oklahoma.

message 93: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments I've been to Oklahoma. They tell me I was born there, but it's a lie. How would they know, anyway?

message 94: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) They keep records of those things.

message 95: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments So you're saying they're right? I don't think I'm prepared to be from Oklahoma. I need to work on my drawl.

message 96: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Just watch Reba for a couple of weeks.
