I thought it would be a fun idea to write a story as a group. This is how it works:
First we decide on a name for our hero and heroine. Since this group is a historical romance group we should have this story based on that genre. Then you take turns writing the story in this thread. You may choose to write a paragraph, a sentence or even just adding one word to the story. Here is an example:
Betty wrote: Jane grew up on a farm.
Anne wrote: She always enjoyed helping out with the different chores; she cleaned out the stables, fed the pigs and gathered eggs from the chicken pen.
Lisa wrote: Jane never minded getting dirty either.
Sue wrote: She was considered a tom-boy by most people. She would rather wear breeches like the boys instead of lacy frocks.
.... and so on and so on. Any person posting has the right to change the storyline to go in a different direction at any time. What makes this fun is seeing the different things people post and just how creative we can all get!
Anybody interested?

Heidi you don't have to be good at writing, you can contribute one word, such as "Indeed" or "yes", or you can contribute one sentence, such as "It was the worst day of her life."

Yes! I can see him in my mind... tall, bronzed by the sun, muscular, sinfully handsome, coal black hair, that slightly curls with a rebellious lock that sweeps across his forehead, and midnight blue eyes that can see in the depth of your soul... he is quite delicious... he does need a name!!!

We know you are not taking over :) You are just being your helpful self

So, just to regroup-- Everyone post their name suggestions and we will vote on Monday. Please only give only one name of h/h per person!
1- first, last name hero
2- title of hero
3- first, last name heroine

Ok .. I would prefer a "Viscount" for the male or an "Earl" and the heroine a "dutchess"

Hero
Viscount Ethan Westfield
Heroine
Dutchess Rachael Menarefree

But then i tend to love the stories where a fair maiden or a farm girl gets seduced and ravished by someone of impotantce like a Viscount/duke ...
this is goign to be difficult ...
what about the setting ???? 1700-1800's i quiet like he victrian era
