Alycia | 1478 comments Love the names Rachael

Cyn Mistress Kitty (beachlover) I vote for Danielle's names although I still like Menarefree. Still laughing about that one. That Rachael is a little Minx.

Cyn Mistress Kitty (beachlover) I like the last name Thornhart. Sounds ominous don't you think?

message 54: by Alycia (new)

Alycia | 1478 comments ...and sexy

Cyn Mistress Kitty (beachlover) OK I've changed my mind How's this?

Grayson Thornhart Earl of Winterbrooke

Fionna O'connell

I like a little Irish background in England. It could add some spice.

Bekah (bekah317) | 2750 comments let's do the indecent proposal angle!!! And I like Ethan too!

How about....oh! Indentured servitude... that works good too. Lots of angst...lusting after the heroine, denying himself till he's crazy!

IDEA

we could have the following combo's for the heroine & hero

- Scottish & English
- Irish & English

this will test our writing skills because when we are writting we will have to write in Scottish or Irish
Verra good lass
iiiieeeee (LOL)

message 61: by [deleted user] (new)

message 62: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (ghemomma) | 900 comments I agree, y'all are cracking me up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, and you can vote on one person's hero name and another person's heroine name, both names don't have to come from the same suggestion!

Thanks Rach.
I like the Irish angle and I also think the Indentured servant plot could be really interesting.

message 64: by Robin (new)

Robin | 361 comments For Hero I like Danielle's Christian Hawthorne, Earl of Ashbourne (Lord Ashbourne). For Heroine I like Heidi's Eulaliah but for her last name I like Cynthia's Thornhart even though that was her Hero's last name. Eulaliah Thornhart. She is known for living up to her name.

I'll probably read more then I participate because it takes me awhile sometimes to get the thoughts in my head to paper. Hope that's ok

message 65: by Kathy Anne (new)

Kathy Anne (kathyanne) I like Danielles Christian Hawthorn too.
Can`t decide on a female name yet, don`t pay much attention to the ladies anyway.

message 66: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (ghemomma) | 900 comments Robin- that's fine, you can be a voyeur or you can add to it when it inspires you!

Kathy Anne- I love it "don't pay much attention the the ladies anyway"... haha!

Lisarenee | 392 comments I wouldn't mind giving this one a try. One thing I've noticed with these types of group stories is that 2 people could attempt to write the same portion of the story at the same time. Perhaps we should call the area before adding our latest pieces. You know put in a message saying your taking control of the thread. Then overlay your statement with your story portion. Do you know what I'm speaking about?

Good idea :)

message 77: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (ghemomma) | 900 comments Lisarenee-- good idea!

So if you have come along and read the story as it stands and you are inspired to add to it, even if it is one sentence, go ahead and stake your claim! Such as follows:

Soandso wrote: Blah blah blah blah....

Whatshername wrote: Blaaaaah blahhhhh blah blaah.................................blah blah.................................................................................

Whoever wrote: ***I am writing this section now!!!***

Agreed? But you cannot claim that spot for too long, that wouldn't be fair to someone else who might come along!

Robin | 361 comments Cheryl wrote Robin- that's fine, you can be a voyeur or you can add to it when it inspires you!

Thank you

As for how to post an addition to the story:

Sounds kind of like playing Volleyball, holler mine hit post and then type away. Right?

message 79: by [deleted user] (new)

hmmmm my wee little brain is all confussed :(

message 80: by Robin (new)

Robin | 361 comments Rachel, I don't think you're the only one who's confused. This may prove to be not only a fun adventure but a learn as we go one. Either way it'll definitely be interesting.

message 81: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (ghemomma) | 900 comments Rachael what are you confused about?

Robin- you got it!

message 82: by [deleted user] (new)

Im not sure how it works this new thing.. do we all have a go at witting ???? like a chapter ???

message 83: by [deleted user] (new)

HOld on .. i think i just worked it out .. as soon as you think you have somethig to add . you post MINE???? then type away??

message 84: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (ghemomma) | 900 comments yes! but you can't hold it for long... then you edit your "hold" message and paste in your stuff you wrote. It's not difficult, maybe confusing until you see it done!

message 85: by [deleted user] (new)

Yep yep yep ... i think i got it .. man .. im gonna need my thinking cap on LOL

message 86: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (ghemomma) | 900 comments I think we can do it! Are we the only two people around?

message 97: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (ghemomma) | 900 comments Robin I'm in GA

Rachael- AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You blocked his nose?!?!?!?!?!! That is hilarious! I hate it when my husband snores!!!!!!!!! ugh it keeps me awake, but my husband is out of town and I just can't sleep :(

But I'm on a mad hunt for a pic, I think I'm getting close to finding something!

message 98: by Robin (last edited Mar 27, 2010 11:55PM) (new)

Robin | 361 comments Rachel, I try to look on the bright side he has sleep apnea so if he's making noise then he's breathing, actually gasping for air after not breathing for as long as 10 seconds but I try not to think about that part. We haven't found anything that works either and I have been known to get frustrated and kick the bejeesus out of him then innocently say oops because I really didn't mean to kick him that hard.

Cheryl, I find it even harder to sleep when he's out of town. I've tried the same thing as Rachel, held his nose, it just made him mad.

message 99: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (ghemomma) | 900 comments I bet it did make him mad! That's funny though!

message 100: by Robin (new)

Robin | 361 comments I think I'm going to attempt to sleep. Cheryl, Hope you're able to get some (sleep that is). Talk to you later.
