I hate how sometimes the topic of a thread has nothing to do with what’s being discussed on it.

Theresa (tsorrels) I hate that I have no desire to work today and my techs keep sending me work to do. How rude!

I hate that I have no desire to work today and the boss (the one that has been out for 4+ weeks due to motorcycle accident) had to choose today to come in for a few hours. She'll be here in ~15 minutes. How am I supposed to spend quality time with my friends on GoodReads if she is here?!

I hate that in the six hours that I've been at work today - doing nothing work-related - that my desk went from fairly clean to piles of paperwork stacked everywhere.

Amanda (randymandy) *Hi-Fives Logan and Theresa*

Jobs suck ass. I really hate mine, and I've already turned in my notice and everything. But now it's just the watiting game until I can get outta here on June 30th. And I still don't have other employment lined up. Ugh. What to do. Logan, let me know how the re-eval goes. Does that mean you'll look for something else, or what?

Charity (charityross) I hate when I'm in Panera and I overhear someone mispronounce the word Asiago. They end up pronouncing it something like 'ass-age-io'. Wtf?

Theresa (tsorrels) Amanda & Logan, I moved some paperwork around my desk and uncapped a couple of pens to make it look like I've been hard at work for when the boss gets here.

Normally I love my job, but I'm tired today and not interested in being productive.

Summer (summerbp) Kind of like when people order a latte and say it either "laddy" or "luh-tay." I like to laugh at them, though.

message 56: by Charity (new)

Charity (charityross) I also hate when people pronounce fajita, 'fah-gIta'. Sounds like vagina fungus.

message 57: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (randymandy) Ha, Theresa! Whenever I hear someone walking down my little aisleway, I alwasy hurriedly click over to my work software and start scrolling and gazing intently at my screen as if I've been working the whole time. Funny how we all have techniques to reinforce our lies!

message 58: by Theresa (new)

Theresa (tsorrels) Do you do the squint at the computer screen, Amanda? Like, oh, I'm so focused, I have to squint?

I'm going to give myself premature wrinkles.

message 59: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (randymandy) Yep! :) haha

message 60: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (randymandy) Oh, and sometimes I talk to myself just a little, as if I'm reading and thinking aloud because my job is soooooo difficult!

message 61: by Theresa (new)

Theresa (tsorrels) Awesome! Although, I tend to talk to myself anyway. It is a side effect of being an only child, I think.

(Self-to-Self: Do you?)

(Self-to-Other-Self: Why, yes, I do!)

Sometimes it gets a little out of control. And then people stare at me like I've grown a third eyeball (which would be awesome!).

message 62: by Carlie (new)

Carlie I am one of 5 and I still talk to myself. Even think in terms of "we" in reference to myself.

message 63: by Theresa (new)

Theresa (tsorrels) It helps me concentrate when I talk to myself.

message 64: by John (new)

John (jonti) Try using a sodding pencil and rubber... twist the wires and then blow gently... if that doesn't work... you're fucking screwed...

message 65: by Charity (new)

Charity (charityross) I hate that I might actually get some quality reading time in since I won't have internet, phone, or cable access for 5 days. Perish the thought.

message 66: by Theresa (new)

Theresa (tsorrels) Vacation, Charity?

message 67: by Charity (new)

Charity (charityross) Don't I wish. Moving. Oh the horror! In fact, I'm procrastinating as we speak. I should really finish packing, but I want to get a big internet fix in.

The Crimson Fucker (tcf123) | -6 comments I hate when people are sitting on MY corner in B&N (I’m here right now) so I have to sit on next to the romance section!!!!! This sux go away you losers!!!!

message 69: by Carlie (new)

Carlie hope your moving to a warmer climate.

message 70: by Charity (new)

Charity (charityross) Nope. Across town. Might be warmer there though.

message 71: by Theresa (new)

Theresa (tsorrels) I hate that it is raining and cold and we are going to an outdoor concert.

message 72: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (randymandy) Is John trying to teach us how to build a light bulb?
