Nicole (nicole21) | 573 comments I'll have to pick up the new Gossip Girl; I didn't even know there was one. Though I did read an excerpt in Vanity Fair of a non-GG college-age book that CvZ just wrote which sounded interesting.

Rufus is pretty lame and the parent timeline makes no damn sense. I don't see why they had to give Lily and Rufus a kid to screw up everyone's ages even more.

Cathy (cgraceh) | 422 comments While I couldn't get through even the audio version of Rachel's Holiday, I finally finished my last book for this challenge (good since I have the sequel in the next challenge!)

Excellent book...funny, great main character. Unpredictbale twists..definitely recommended!

A Total Waste of Makeup A Total Waste of Makeup by Kim Gruenenfelder

And you get to work on a great tan at the same time! :)

Nicole (nicole21) | 573 comments During the summer I read just about all my books outside. I figure I should enjoy the few non-rainy months (I'm in Seattle) as much as I can.

I'm impressed that you read 21 of your TBR books, Cathy. While I read quite a few books during these months, I just couldn't get motivated to read the books I put on my to read list years ago. I didn't love nearly as much the sequel to A Total Waste of Makeup (which I absolutely adored), but it is a great book.
