Please delete this book! (pt. 7)

I've already merged it. That one has no isbn but if searching for the first edition then it is 0061926515 which there already is an entry of.

Got it merged. But I don't think it should be deleted since it's a 1961 Simon and Schuster edition.

http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/85... -either delete or merge with Nation - I think it is a misspelling but the isbn is different

I combined the other listing with the editions of Nation.

I was concentrating so much about its alternate ISBN I accidentally searched for the book by the alternate ISBN - which turned up nothing so I created it. Only to see my mistake when I was putting in the actual ISBN as the alternate, and GR kindly prompted me with a "silly you! I already exist!" lol.
Sorry!

It's already in the database in a complete and correct version. :)

There are two eBook editions of this book from the same publisher. The first one has incorrect ISBN numbers.A Cowboy Family Christmas
The second one has the correct ISBN numbers. A Cowboy Family Christmas They are combined. But shouldn't the incorrect ISBN one be deleted instead of combined?
Just checking before I hit delete.

When I Googled it it didn't come up as a Barnes and Noble edition. So I am looking in the wrong place. Is there a way we can let people know it is from B&N? Would that go under Publisher?
I was just looking at the B&N site and I see that often the B&N SKU is being listed as a ISBN 13 # in the Goodreads books *heads back to the Librarian Handbook & discussions to do more research*

Google didn't pull anything up for me either, but when I went to B&N's website and searched the ISBN, I got a hit. The ISBN listed for that book on B&N's website matches that of the listing on Goodreads.
There are different ISBN's for different editions of ebooks just as there are for regular books, as well as for various formats of ebooks (epub, pdf, etc.), so just because one is different from another does not mean that it is wrong.
The only times that I've found an ISBN to be "wrong" is if someone who entered a book manually (rather than it being imported from Amazon or B&N) entered an ISBN into the wrong spot. For example, putting an ASIN in the ISBN box, or copy/pasting an ISBN 13 into the ISBN 10 spot. In those cases, we end up with duplicate entries because of someone mishandling the information.

A bunch of people shelved this essay, Notes on Camp, which is not a freestanding book. It was published in a magazine and later was included in Sontag's collection "Against Interpretation." I combined it with Against Interpretation.
