What are you reading next?
I'm reading Graceling. It's a little hard to get into because of all the weird names. I feel like I'm not really absorbing it and I'm going to be quizzed on it later. ;)

And as far as the Kindle, you can archive them but download them again from your account on Amazon. I'd also recommend backing them up on your own computer - just in case a digital title is no longer available for download.

Oh! For those considering the Kindle. It does laundry, sings a lullaby at night, and tells you how pretty you are in the mornings. I've personally witnessed my Kindle helping an elderly lady cross the street. Now you tell me how can I turn my back on my Kindle??

Was there anyone else that thought the Iron King was just okay??

I am competing in a challenge that is really pushing me to read some different books than I normally would, so I am excited :)

I actually dont own a kindle I have a netbook. The only reason I have ebooks is it is more convenient for me and alot easier than traipsing to the library which here in South Africa is not teaming with new releases. I love paper books and taking them into the bath with me, cant do that with my netbook.
But I promise to never mention it again.:-)

Enjoy!! John Green's audiobooks are some of my favorites :)

Will do. Let me know how much you loved Sloppy Firsts - and I mean that if you aren't going to say you loved it than we may have to fight like I said Peeta sucks and Kindle rocks or something.

Ha! I will update you :)

I'll probably pick that up on my next trip to the other library. It better be good, too. The only other book of his that I read was Papertowns. And I liked it but I really wanted to punch Margo in the face. Hard.

Yeah, Margo is a B for sure but I still really enjoyed the book. His main characters are always kind of geeky teenage boys and I dig that because I don't read very many books from a boys pov and I like dorks. I keep meaning to pick up a copy of Looking for Alaska at the bookstore since I read a library copy and it is one that I need to be able to reread at my leisure.

I've listened to all of them, and they always make me LOL.

My favorite part was his birthday gift from him parents and the reason his mom got it for him. That was so funny!

I'm on page 228 and I am just starting to get into it. There is kind of a theme of the fey are real because people use their imagination and all I can think of when they are talking about it is that South Park with Imagination Land or something like that. It's not bad but I am over half way through it and it hasn't really dug in with me. I don't know if that helps at all. :)

It was so easy to jump right in with my favorite characters!!

Heidi, just think - it's a good thing that you guys have libraries over there. If I want to read a book that I'm interested in, I have to go out and buy it. :( But I've stopped fighting recommendations, I just keep adding stuff and hopefully I'll get around to buying/reading them. On with the book pushing!

Pam - please update us on Incarceron!!!"
@Heidi @BlueMoon
About 125 pages in and I don't know what to think. The pacing is steady and the concept is interesting but so far not as 'original' as I was expecting.
That said, I don't know why I was expecting 'strangeness'. And, maybe that's yet to come. So far though, there's two plot lines, one outside of Incarceron and one inside. Won't say more for fear of spoilers.

So true... Of course one of the books I put on hold was The Help, so I think I'll be waiting a while for that one. (see... I'm willing to give it a try)
As to The Book Thief, even if I am heartless and not a crier. I found myself wanting to know more. I understand why it ended as it did and how it did, but man, what I would have given to hear that conversation between Max and Leisel in the taylor shop. I know why it's not in there... but I want to know!!
Max was by far my favorite character. I think you guys will quickly learn those are the types of characters I fall in love with, the tragic, hopeless kind who expect nothing for themselves but are usually willing to sacrifice so much for others. Ex: fav Harry Potter character... Sirius Black. Don't worry though... I'm definitely Team Rudy!

You know, I don't. I think there is a special unbreakable bond there, but I just don't see that happening. Do you think so?
